Recliner Packages & Lounge Suites

Recliner packages and lounge suites — matched sets at a package price

A recliner package — also called a recliner lounge suite, recliner suite, or recliner sofa set — is a complete matched lounge configuration sold as one bundle. Buy a 3-seater, a 2-seater, and a single recliner chair as a coordinated 3-piece suite, and you save against buying each piece separately. Every cushion, armrest, and recliner mechanism comes from the same range, in the same upholstery — so the suite looks deliberately matched rather than mixed-and-matched together.

Across our recliner packages we stock three standard configurations — 3+2, 3+2+1 and 3+1+1 — in both manual and electric recliner mechanisms, and across leather, air leather and fabric upholsteries. Whether you're furnishing a family living room, a media room, or a compact apartment, there's a matched recliner suite configuration that fits.

Why buy a recliner lounge suite as a package

Three concrete reasons to buy as a complete suite rather than piece by piece:

• Save against buying separately — packaged recliner suites are priced lower than the same pieces purchased individually. The savings come from coordinated stock, single delivery, and bundled pricing.
• Guaranteed matched look — every piece in the suite uses the same upholstery, the same cushion profile, the same recliner mechanism, and the same proportions. Buying separately can leave you with subtle mismatches in cushion fullness, leather batch, or armrest design even within the same range.
• Single delivery, single setup — the entire suite arrives together, in one delivery, on one day. No staggered arrivals, no waiting for the missing piece, no risk of one item being out of stock when you go back for the rest.

Recliner package configurations and room-size guidance

The three standard configurations cover most living-room sizes. Match seat count to room size and how many people you regularly seat:

3+2 Recliner Lounge Package — seats 5

A 3-seater recliner lounge plus a 2-seater recliner lounge. Five seats total, with reclining function on selected seats depending on the range. The classic combination for medium-to-large living rooms where TV viewing is the main activity. Usually arranged with the 3-seater facing the TV and the 2-seater perpendicular. Footprint: typically 4.5 m × 3 m of clear floor space when both pieces are reclined.

3+2+1 Recliner Suite — seats 6

The full matched recliner suite: 3-seater, 2-seater, and a single recliner chair. Six seats total, the most common configuration for family living rooms hosting kids, partners, and occasional guests. The single chair adds individual seating flexibility — useful for a dedicated reading or working position separate from the main lounge zone. Footprint: typically 4.5 m × 4 m clear floor space when fully reclined.

3+1+1 Recliner Suite — seats 5

A 3-seater plus two single recliner chairs (instead of a 2-seater). Five seats total, the same as 3+2 but with more individual seating positions — good for households where people prefer their own chair rather than sharing a sofa. Particularly popular in formal lounge settings and rooms where the chairs need to face different directions (TV vs window vs conversation). Footprint: similar to 3+2.

Manual or electric recliner packages

Every package configuration is available in both manual and electric recliner mechanisms — though within a single package, all pieces use the same mechanism (a 3+2+1 suite is either fully manual or fully electric, not mixed). The trade-offs are the same as for individual pieces:

• Manual recliner suites — lever-pull mechanism, no power point needed for any piece in the suite, more affordable, simpler. Place anywhere in the room.
• Electric recliner suites — button-control on each reclining seat, optional features like USB charging, cooling cupholders, ambient lighting (depending on range). Each piece in the suite needs access to a power point.

If you're undecided, our manual recliners and electric recliners collection pages cover the comparison in more detail.

Recliner suites in leather, air leather and fabric

All three materials are available across our recliner package range:

• Genuine leather — premium upholstery for formal lounge settings. Ages with character, wipes clean. Best for households that want the longest possible suite life and the richest finish.
• Air leather — bonded leather composite that breathes well in Queensland's subtropical climate. The Sunshine recliner suite range is upholstered in air leather. Easy to maintain, lower price point than genuine leather.
• Fabric — the easy-care option for households with kids and pets. Wider colour range than leather typically offers.

Featured recliner packages and suite ranges

Two of our most popular recliner suite ranges are worth knowing by name:

• Sunshine Recliner Suite — a manual recliner package in air leather, available as a complete matched suite. The range includes a 2-seater with centre console, a 3-seater, and a matching rocker swivel recliner chair — buy as a 3+2+1 package or in smaller configurations. Available in black with tonal stitching or brown with contrast stitching.
• Bentley Recliner Suite — available in both manual and electric variants, with single chair, 2-seater, and 3-seater all matched in the same upholstery. One of our most flexible suite options for buyers who want to choose mechanism while keeping the matched look.

Other matched-suite ranges (Milano, Lemington, and others) are available across the page above. Each product page lists the configuration, mechanism, upholstery, and dimensions of the specific package.

How to choose the right recliner suite for your home

Three questions narrow the choice quickly:

How many people do you regularly seat?

Match seat count to your normal household plus an allowance for guests. A couple in a small home is usually well-served by a 3+2 (5 seats). A family with kids generally needs 3+2+1 or 3+1+1 (5–6 seats). Don't oversize beyond what you'll actually use — a too-large suite eats floor space and feels under-occupied.

How much clear floor space do you have?

Measure the longest free wall and the depth of the lounge zone. A 3+2+1 suite needs roughly 4.5 m × 4 m of clear floor space when all pieces are reclined. A 3+2 needs about 4.5 m × 3 m. Allow walking paths around the suite, and remember that recliners need 60–90 cm of clearance behind for the recline action (or 8–15 cm for wall-hugger models).

Mechanism, material, and budget

These three usually decide together. Manual mechanisms cost less; electric mechanisms cost more but add convenience. Genuine leather costs more than air leather, which costs more than fabric. Set the configuration first (decided by seat count and floor space), then choose mechanism + material based on remaining budget and household preferences.

Visit a Showroom or Order for Delivery

A recliner package is a significant purchase — usually the largest furniture buy a household makes in a decade. With a matched suite you are judging how it works as a whole, so ask which showroom has the suite you like on display. Ask which of our five South-East Queensland showrooms has the recliner suite model you like on display:

• Rocklea — Brisbane south-west
• North Ipswich — Ipswich
• Virginia — Brisbane north
• Bundall — Gold Coast
• Beenleigh — Logan / between Brisbane and Gold Coast

We offer Free Local Delivery on eligible items within 10 km of our Rocklea warehouse when you pay outright (not pay later), ground floor only, with affordable delivery available to the Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba, Ipswich, Logan and wider regional Queensland. Recliner suites are delivered together as a single shipment so you can set up the whole lounge in one go.

Frequently asked questions

• What's the difference between a recliner package and a recliner lounge suite?

In Australian furniture usage these terms are interchangeable. A recliner package, recliner lounge suite, recliner suite, recliner sofa set, and 3-piece recliner suite all refer to the same thing: a matched set of reclining lounge pieces (typically a 3-seater plus 2-seater plus single chair, or similar configurations) sold together as one bundle. "Lounge suite" is the broader Australian term that's been used for decades; "recliner package" is more common in furniture retail catalogues. The piece itself is the same.

• How much do you save buying a recliner package vs separately?

The exact saving varies by range and configuration, but matched recliner suites are consistently priced lower than the same pieces purchased individually. The savings come from coordinated stock, single delivery, and bundled pricing. Beyond the immediate price saving, you also avoid the risk of buying a 3-seater now and finding the matching 2-seater out of stock or discontinued when you go back to add it later. Visit a showroom or contact us for current package pricing on the configuration you want.

• Which recliner package configuration fits my room?

Match seat count to household and clear floor space. A 3+2+1 suite (six seats, ~4.5 m × 4 m clear floor space when fully reclined) suits most family living rooms. A 3+2 (five seats, ~4.5 m × 3 m) works well for medium-to-large rooms. A 3+1+1 (five seats, similar footprint to 3+2) is popular when people prefer individual chairs over sharing a 2-seater. Always allow walking paths around the suite plus 60–90 cm of recline clearance behind each reclining piece.

• Do you offer manual and electric recliner packages?

Yes, both manual and electric recliner suites are available across all three standard configurations (3+2, 3+2+1, 3+1+1). Within a single package, all pieces use the same mechanism — a 3+2+1 suite is either fully manual or fully electric, not mixed. The Sunshine range is a fully manual matched suite; the Bentley range is available in both manual and electric variants. If you're undecided between mechanisms, our manual recliners and electric recliners collection pages cover the comparison in detail.

• Can I get a leather recliner lounge suite?

Yes — leather is available across our recliner suite range, in genuine leather, air leather and PU options. The Sunshine range is upholstered in air leather (a bonded leather composite that performs well in Queensland's climate). Each product page states which leather that suite uses. Browse our leather recliners collection for the full leather-grade comparison — the same leather grade information applies to packaged suites.

• Can I customise a recliner package or mix-and-match pieces?

Online, packages are sold as fixed configurations within a single range and mechanism — this is what allows the bundled pricing and matched-suite consistency. In-store at our showrooms, our team can sometimes arrange custom configurations or mix-and-match across compatible ranges, depending on stock and the specific request. If you have a specific requirement that doesn't match our standard configurations, contact your nearest showroom directly to discuss options.
