Corner & L-Shaped Lounges, Couches & Sofas

Our goal is to make high-quality furniture accessible for every home, whether you're setting up your first apartment or simply ready for a refresh. We make finding a corner couch that suits your space & budget easy.

Corner Lounges for Modern Living

Corner lounges are perfect for making the most of your floor space. Their L-shape layout provides generous seating without feeling bulky or overpowering in the room. If you enjoy stretching out while watching TV, hosting guests, or just want something to fit neatly into the corner of your room, an L-shaped couch is a great choice.

Unlike traditional three-seaters, corner sofas make use of otherwise unused room space. They help define open-plan areas, offer more seating for gatherings, and add a sense of warmth and cosiness to any living area.

A well-designed l-shaped lounge can truly transform your space into a functional, stylish retreat — especially when paired with thoughtful pieces like Brisbane coffee tables, wall mirrors to catch the Brisbane sun, or sectional sofas from our wider collection.

Corner Sofa Sets Designed for Real Homes

We're a local, family-run business with a solid footprint across Queensland. If you're searching for a corner couch, Brisbane dining set or console table in Brisbane, we've got options to suit. Our team is local, and our prices are hard to beat. We're not here to be flashy — we're here to help.

And while we don't rely on empty promises, we do offer some of the cheapest corner lounges in Brisbane. That's not marketing talk, it's just what happens when you cut out unnecessary costs and focus on quality and value instead.

Style and Function, All in One Corner Sofa Set

At A2Z Furniture, we understand that furniture isn't just about looks, it needs to work for your life.

That's why many of our L-shape lounges come with added features like built-in storage or pull-out beds. An L-shaped couch with storage gives you extra room to hide away blankets, books, or everyday clutter, keeping your space clean and calm. If you often have friends or family staying over, a corner lounge with bed functionality offers a comfortable sleep solution without needing a spare room.

Rearrange the layout to suit your space, and switch things up as your needs change. Whether you're furnishing a compact apartment or a spacious family home, modular corner lounges with sofa beds adapt with you.

Corner, Chaise or L-Shape — and Which Side?

"Corner lounge," "corner sofa," "corner couch" and "L-shaped sofa" all describe the same idea — a sofa shaped in an L, with two seating runs meeting at a corner. A chaise sofa is the close cousin: a sofa with one elongated seat at one end, long enough to stretch your legs out or lie back on. Many corner lounges include a chaise section, so the main difference is scale — how long the return is and how many it seats.

Choosing your chaise side (LHF / RHF)

LHF and RHF tell you which side the chaise or long return sits on, from the perspective of someone sitting on the sofa. Left Hand Facing (LHF) means the chaise extends to your left as you sit on it; Right Hand Facing (RHF) means it extends to your right. To work out which you need, stand where the lounge will go, face into the room, and decide which side you want the long chaise on. Each product page states whether a model is LHF, RHF, or reversible.

Prefer a leather finish? Corner and chaise lounges also come in faux, PU and leather-look options — see our leather sofa range. Or, if you'd rather be able to rearrange and expand the layout over time rather than commit to one fixed shape, explore our modular sofas. Want reclining built into the corner? Corner Lounge & Chaise Sofa FAQs

• What is a corner lounge, and is it the same as an L-shaped sofa?

Yes — a corner lounge is a sofa shaped in an L, with two seating runs meeting at a corner, so "corner lounge," "corner sofa," "corner couch" and "L-shaped sofa" all describe the same thing. The L-shape makes the most of a room corner or defines a zone in an open-plan space, seating more people than a standard three-seater in a similar footprint.

• What's the difference between a chaise sofa and a corner lounge?

A chaise sofa is a sofa with one elongated seat — a chaise — at one end, long enough to stretch your legs out or lie back on. A corner lounge takes that further into a full L-shape with a longer return that usually seats more people. Many of our corner lounges include a chaise section; the difference is mostly one of scale.

• What do LHF and RHF (left and right hand facing) mean?

They tell you which side the chaise or long return sits on, from the perspective of someone sitting on the sofa. Left Hand Facing (LHF) means the chaise extends to your left as you sit on it; Right Hand Facing (RHF) means it extends to your right. To choose, stand where the lounge will go, face into the room, and decide which side you want the long chaise on. Each product page states whether the model is LHF, RHF, or reversible.

• Should I choose a corner lounge or a modular sofa?

A corner lounge is a fixed L-shape — you choose the configuration and it stays that way, which makes it easy to style as one cohesive piece. A modular sofa is built from separate sections you can rearrange, split or add to over time. If your floor plan is settled and you want one fixed shape, a corner lounge is ideal; if you'd rather keep your options open, see our modular sofas.

• How much space do I need for a corner lounge?

Most corner lounges run from about 2.4 m on the shorter side up to 3.5 m or more for larger models. Measure both walls the L will sit against, leave roughly 90–100 cm of clear floor in front for walkways, and check your delivery path — doorways, hallway turns, lifts and stairs. Exact dimensions are listed on each product page, so match a model to your floor plan before you buy.

• Do your corner lounges come with storage or a sofa bed?

Some do. Selected corner lounges include built-in storage under the chaise or a pull-out bed for overnight guests — handy in apartments and multi-use rooms. Check the individual product page for each model's features, or browse our sofa beds and futons for dedicated sleeper options.

• Can I get a corner lounge in leather?

Yes — corner and chaise lounges come in fabric as well as faux, PU and leather-look finishes. For the leather options, see our leather sofa range.
