How big is a 6 seater sofa?
A 6 seater is among the largest lounges you can buy — and because most are corner, modular or U-shaped, the dimensions are measured along each side rather than as one straight length. They need a genuinely large, open room. Always check the measurements on the product page and plan your layout (and delivery access) before ordering. Are all 6 seater sofas corner or modular?
Most are. Seating for six is generous enough that a corner, modular or U-shaped layout is usually the practical way to fit it in — which also lets you shape the seating to your room. See our corner lounges for the full range of six-seat configurations.
Can I get a 6 seater recliner or with a chaise?
Yes — for recline, our recliner packages seat six or more (some with optional armless chairs for a home theatre), and corner lounges with a chaise are in our corner & chaise range.
Should I get a 5 seater or a 6 seater?
It comes down to room size. A 5 seater suits a big living room; a 6 seater needs a genuinely large, open-plan space — measure your wall lengths and allow room for walkways before deciding. If space is tight, a modular layout gives flexibility to scale the seating.
Will a 6 seater fit through my door?
A modular or sectional 6 seater is delivered in separate sections and assembled inside, which gets around tight doorways, hallways and stairs entirely — the easiest option for a large lounge. For one-piece designs, measure your access carefully first, and call us on 1300 781 990 if you're unsure.
