A sofa set — or lounge suite — is a group of matching pieces designed to sit together, so your whole living room is coordinated in one go instead of hunting for sofas that almost match. Our sets come as a 3+2 seater, a 3+1+1 with two matching armchairs, or a full 3+2+1 suite, in fabric and leather-look finishes. Delivered across South-East Queensland, or ask which of our five showrooms has the set on display.

Why buy a matching sofa set or lounge suite?
A sofa set — also called a couch set or lounge suite — is a group of pieces made to match: the same frame, fabric and styling across a 3-seater, 2-seater and armchairs. Buying them as a set means your living room is coordinated from day one, with none of the near-misses that come from pairing a sofa from one range with a chair from another. It's the simplest way to a pulled-together room that mismatched furniture can't quite manage.
It's usually the better-value route, too. Sets are priced to buy together, and the whole suite can be delivered or collected in one go. Furnish the room once, in one go, and have it match.
What's in a sofa set? 3+2, 3+1+1 and 3+2+1 explained
Our sets are sold in three classic combinations. The numbers simply describe the seats: how many people each matching piece holds.
- 3+2 seater — a 3-seater sofa plus a matching 2-seater. The most popular set: it seats around five, balances a room nicely, and suits most living rooms.
- 3+1+1 — a 3-seater plus two matching armchairs. Ideal when you'd rather have individual seats, or want a more formal, symmetrical arrangement around a coffee table.
- 3+2+1 — a 3-seater, a 2-seater and an armchair. The fullest suite, with the most matched seating — best for larger living rooms and busy family homes.
"Sofa set," "couch set" and "lounge suite" all describe the same thing — matching pieces sold together. If you'd prefer a single piece rather than a set, you can shop our 3 seater sofas, 2 seater sofas and armchairs individually.
A matching set, or build your own?

- You're furnishing the whole living room at once
- You like the value of buying the pieces together
- You want it to arrive ready to style, no guesswork

Choosing the right size set for your room
Match the configuration to the room before the style. A 3+2 suits most standard living rooms and is the safe all-rounder; a 3+2+1 needs a larger or open-plan space but rewards you with the most seating for families and guests; a 3+1+1 works well where you want defined individual chairs rather than a second sofa.
Measure the walls each piece will sit against, leave roughly 90–100 cm of clear floor for walkways, and allow space for a coffee table and rug between the pieces so the grouping doesn't feel crowded. Then check your delivery path — doorways, hallway turns, lifts and stairs. Because a set arrives as separate pieces, it usually fits through tight entries more easily than one oversized sofa. Pair your suite with a coffee table sized to the layout, and if you're unsure, bring photos and measurements into a showroom and we'll help you choose.
Looking for a particular style?
Beyond the matching sets here, you'll find the same comfort and value across our wider range. For an L-shape, see our corner & chaise lounges; for a leather or leather-look finish, our leather sofa range; for reclining comfort, our recliner sofas; and for pieces you can rearrange and expand over time, our modular sofas. See the Set Together — Visit a Showroom
A matching suite is best judged in person — seeing the pieces grouped, sitting on both the sofa and the chair, and feeling the fabric together. We're a family-run, Australian-owned business that's been selling furniture across South-East Queensland since 2013. Ask which of our five showrooms has the suite you like on display:
- Rocklea — Brisbane south-west
- North Ipswich — Ipswich

Free local delivery is available on eligible items within 10 km of our Rocklea warehouse when you pay outright (not pay later), ground floor only, with affordable delivery rates across the wider Brisbane, Gold Coast and South-East Queensland region — see our Free Local Delivery page for your area. Sofa Set & Lounge Suite FAQs
-
What's the difference between a sofa set and a lounge suite?
None — they're the same thing. "Sofa set," "couch set" and "lounge suite" all describe a group of matching pieces sold together, designed to share the same frame, fabric and styling so your living room is coordinated rather than pieced together from different ranges.
-
What do 3+2, 3+1+1 and 3+2+1 mean?
The numbers describe the seats in each matching piece. 3+2 is a 3-seater plus a 2-seater (the most popular set). 3+1+1 is a 3-seater plus two matching armchairs. 3+2+1 is a 3-seater, a 2-seater and an armchair — the fullest suite, with the most matched seating for larger rooms and families.
-
Is a sofa set better value than buying the pieces separately?
Usually, yes. Sets are priced to buy together, so a matched suite generally works out better value than sourcing each piece on its own — and you avoid the risk of the pieces not quite matching. The whole set can be delivered or collected in one go.
-
What size room do I need for a sofa set?
A 3+2 set suits most standard living rooms. A full 3+2+1 suite needs a larger or open-plan space, while a 3+1+1 works well where you'd prefer individual chairs. Measure the walls each piece will sit against, leave roughly 90–100 cm of clear floor for walkways, and allow room for a coffee table between the pieces. Exact dimensions are on each product page.
-
Can I get a sofa set in leather, or with recliners or a corner?
Our matching sets here come in fabric and leather-look finishes as 3+2, 3+1+1 and 3+2+1. If you're after a leather finish specifically, browse our leather sofa range; for reclining seats, our recliner sofas; and for an L-shape, our corner & chaise lounges.
-
