How Layby Works
Four simple steps from selection to delivery.
Choose Your Furniture
Browse our bedroom, lounge, dining, and living collections. Layby is available on selected items — ask in-store or call us to confirm eligibility.
Pay Your 25% Deposit
A minimum deposit of 25% (inc. GST) secures your item. Your goods are reserved and held safely in our warehouse from this point.
Pay the Balance Over 90 Days
Clear the remaining balance at your own pace within the 90-day period — zero interest, zero finance fees. Top up whenever suits you.
Arrange Delivery or Pick-Up
Once paid in full, book your delivery or collection with at least 5–7 working days' notice. We'll get it to you safely.

All layby agreements at A2Z Furniture are subject to the following conditions.
Product Eligibility
Layby is available on selected products only. Management retains full discretion to determine which items qualify and may update eligibility or terms at any time without prior notice. Please confirm availability with our team before committing.
Minimum Deposit — 25%
A non-refundable deposit of at least 25% of the total purchase price (inclusive of GST) is required at the time of placing your layby order. This secures your chosen item in our warehouse.
90-Day Layby Period
The layby period runs for a maximum of 90 calendar days from the date of your order, unless a different period is stated on your invoice. Your balance must be paid in full and delivery or collection arranged within this timeframe.
Storage & Late Collection Fees
If delivery or collection is not arranged within the 90-day period, A2Z Furniture reserves the right to charge reasonable storage and administration fees. Please contact your nearest store before your period expires to discuss extension options.
2-Day Cooling-Off Period
You have a 2 calendar day cooling-off window from the date of your layby order. If you cancel within this period, no cancellation fee applies and your deposit will be refunded in full.
Cancellation After Cooling-Off — 20% Fee
If a layby is cancelled after the 2-day cooling-off period, a cancellation fee of 20% of the total purchase price (inclusive of GST) applies to each cancelled item. The remaining balance of any payments made will be refunded.
Product Changes
Changing the product after a layby is placed is not permitted without management approval. If a change is approved, the replacement item must be equal to or greater in value than the original selection.
Delivery Booking — 5 to 7 Working Days' Notice
Once your layby is finalised and paid in full, please provide a minimum of 5–7 working days' notice when scheduling your delivery. For full delivery terms, see our Pickup & Delivery Terms.

The standard layby period is 90 days from the date of your order. A different period may be specified on your invoice. Both full payment and delivery or collection must be completed within this window.
Yes. You may cancel at any time. If you cancel within the first 2 calendar days, no fee applies and your deposit is refunded in full. Cancellations after the cooling-off period attract a fee of 20% of the total price (inc. GST). The remainder of any amounts paid will be refunded.
If your layby period lapses without delivery or collection being arranged, A2Z Furniture may apply reasonable storage and administration fees. We strongly encourage you to reach out to us before your 90 days expire so we can assist.
Product changes are not permitted without prior management approval. If a change is authorised, the new product must be equal to or greater in value than your original selection.
