Fabric Sofas & Couches

Fabric sofas & couches for Brisbane & Gold Coast homes

Fabric sofas come in far more colours, textures and finishes than leather, so it's easy to find a material sofa that matches your room exactly. Fabric is softer and cosier underfoot — especially through cooler months — while staying breathable and comfortable in the Queensland heat. Whether you're after a single fabric couch, a fabric settee for a smaller room, or a full set of material sofas and couches, our fabric lounges balance comfort, style and value for everyday family living.

Why choose a fabric sofa?

• Comfort. Fabric has a naturally softer, cosier feel than leather — inviting for everyday lounging and cooler nights.
• Colour & texture choice. Far more colours, weaves and textures to match your décor than you'll find in leather.
• Breathability. Fabric lets air move through, so there's none of that sticky feeling in hot Brisbane and Gold Coast weather.
• Family-friendly value. Generally more affordable than leather, and modern hard-wearing weaves stand up to busy households.

Fabric across every style

Love the feel of fabric? You'll find fabric upholstery right across our lounge range — so you can choose the layout you need and still get the softness and colour choice of fabric:

Colours & sizes

Fabric gives you the widest choice of colour — from neutral beige, grey and charcoal that blend with any room, to bolder tones that make a statement. Explore by shade in our grey couches and black couches collections. For size, fabric sofas run from compact two-seaters for apartments and smaller rooms through to roomy three-seaters for the family — check each product page for exact dimensions.

Caring for a fabric sofa

Modern fabric sofas are built to last and are easy to look after. Vacuum the seat and back cushions regularly with an upholstery attachment, rotate loose cushions to even out wear, and blot spills promptly with a clean, damp cloth rather than rubbing. Always check the fabric care code on the product label or care guide before using any cleaning product, and for stubborn marks consider a professional upholstery clean. Fabric sofa FAQs

• Is a fabric sofa better than a leather one?

It depends on how you live. Fabric is softer, cosier, more breathable and comes in far more colours and textures, and it's generally more budget-friendly. Leather is easier to wipe clean and has a sleeker, more tailored look. If you'd like to compare, browse our leather sofas.

• Are fabric sofas suitable for the Brisbane and Gold Coast climate?

Yes — fabric is breathable, so air moves through it and you avoid the sticky feeling leather can have in hot, humid weather. It's comfortable year-round, and many covers are easy to spot-clean for busy family homes.

• Can I get a fabric corner, modular or recliner sofa?

Yes — fabric upholstery runs across our whole lounge range. See corner & chaise lounges, modular & sectional sofas, recliner lounges and sofa beds for fabric options in each layout.

• What colours do fabric sofas come in?

Fabric offers the widest colour choice of any upholstery — from neutral beige, grey and charcoal to bolder statement tones. Explore by shade in our grey couches and black couches collections, or check each product page for the colours available.

• How do I care for a fabric sofa?

Vacuum regularly with an upholstery attachment, rotate loose cushions to even out wear, and blot spills promptly with a clean damp cloth rather than rubbing. Always check the fabric care code on the product label before using any cleaning product, and consider a professional upholstery clean for stubborn marks.
