• What is the difference between a bed base and a bed frame?

  A bed frame has legs and usually a headboard, and holds the mattress on slats or a solid base. A bed base is a low, flat foundation that sits under the mattress with no separate frame. A base plus a mattress is often called an ensemble.

• Do the bases come with a mattress?

  No. Each base is sold on its own, so you can pair it with any mattress in the same size. If you already own a mattress, ask our team to check it will suit a specific base.

• Is a bed base suitable for a small bedroom?
