9 Piece Dining Sets

9-piece dining sets for Brisbane & Gold Coast homes

A 9-piece dining set is the simplest way to seat a big table. You get one large dining table and eight matched chairs — coordinated in finish and proportion. It's the set that turns Sunday lunch, a birthday or a full house of guests into an easy affair, and it anchors an open-plan or dedicated dining room with a real sense of occasion.

Our Brisbane and Gold Coast range spans 2 m glass and marble-look tables, each with eight PU leather chairs to match. You get current designs at fair prices with local delivery across South-East Queensland, and you can ask which showroom has the set you like on display.

Why choose a 9-piece dining set?

A 9-piece set earns its place for three reasons. First, it seats a crowd — eight chairs around one large table means big families and regular entertainers never run short of a seat. Second, it's matched as a set — the table and chairs are designed to sit together, so there's no mixing, guessing or hunting for extra chairs later. Third, it's a genuine statement — a 2 m glass or marble-look table is the piece the whole room is built around.

If eight seats is more than you need, a 7-piece set seats six, or browse all dining sets to compare sizes side by side.

How to choose the right 9-piece set

1. Measure your room first

Before you fall for a table, measure the space. Allow roughly 90–100 cm of clearance on every side so chairs can be pulled out and people can walk past comfortably. Long dining tables suit open-plan living and larger dining rooms — measure both the table footprint and the room around it before ordering.

2. Pick the table top

The top sets the tone. Glass tops keep the room light and airy; marble-look tops lean modern and add a touch of luxe. Choose the material that ties in with your existing furniture and flooring.

3. Match the chairs to the room

Every 9-piece set comes with eight PU leather chairs. Think about comfort for long meals, how easy the finish is to wipe down, and whether you want the chairs to blend in or stand out against the table.

Where a 9-piece set works best

• Big families — eight seats means everyone has a place at the table for everyday meals and weekend gatherings.
• Entertainers — a long table is made for dinner parties, celebrations and a full house of guests.
• Open-plan living — a statement table zones the dining area and pulls a large space together.
• Dedicated dining rooms — give a formal room the centrepiece it deserves with a matched table and chairs.
