4 Seater Sofas

4 seater sofas for Brisbane & Gold Coast homes

When a 3 seater just isn't enough, a 4 seater sofa gives the whole family genuine room to spread out. Whether you're after a 4 seater couch, a 4 seater lounge or simply a sofa with 4 seats, A2Z Furniture is a Queensland-owned, family-run business — founded in 2013 and grown to five showrooms across Brisbane, Ipswich and the Gold Coast — so when you buy a four seater sofa or couch from us, you're buying from people who live and work where you do. Why a 4 seater sofa?

A four-seat sofa — sometimes called a 4 seat sofa or four seater couch — gives four adults genuine room to sit comfortably, not perched on the edge. That extra width makes it the smart choice for:

• Growing families who want everyone on one couch without the elbow wars.
• Entertainers who want guests to feel welcome rather than squeezed.
• Open-plan living rooms where a smaller sofa would look lost against the space.
• Anyone who loves to stretch out — a 4 seater is basically a private lounging zone for one.

Pair it with an ottoman or a chaise configuration and you've got a setup that works as hard as your lifestyle does.

Need to seat four? Where else to look

How wide is a 4 seater sofa?

A straight 4 seater sofa typically measures around 240–290 cm wide, though it varies by model — and chaise or modular four-seaters can run wider. Always check the dimensions on the product page, and measure your room (including doorways and hallways) before ordering. Here's how the 4 seater sits among the common sizes:

Allow at least 45–60 cm between the sofa and your coffee table, and around 90 cm for main walkways.

Payment, warranty & returns

A quality 4 seater is an investment, so we make it easy to pay your way — Afterpay, Zip Pay, Klarna, Latitude Interest Free and PayPal Pay in 4. Layby is also available on selected sofas (25% deposit, up to 90 days), and we accept all major cards, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Every 4 seater sofa comes with a 12-month warranty from delivery or pickup (unless otherwise stated on the product page), on top of your rights under Australian Consumer Law. We offer a 7-day cooling-off period on most orders for change of mind (a restocking fee applies after that, and delivery/assembly charges are non-refundable); clearance and display items are sold as-is. See our Warranty Policy for full terms.

4 seater sofa FAQs

• What's the difference between a 4 seater sofa and a modular sofa?

A standard 4 seater is a single, fixed piece. A modular sofa is made up of separate sections you can arrange and rearrange. If you're in a rental, move regularly, or want flexibility in your layout, modular is often the smarter choice.

• Can I get a 4 seater recliner, sofa bed or leather sofa?

Yes — the four-seat size runs across our range. For recline, see our recliner packages (3+1 and 3+2 seat four or more); for one that converts to a bed, see sofa beds; and for leather, browse our leather sofas.

• Should I get a 3, 4 or 5 seater?

It comes down to your room and how many you seat. A 3 seater suits a standard living room; a 4 seater gives the family extra room to spread out in a larger space; and a 5 seater or corner lounge suits big, open-plan rooms. Measure your wall length and allow room for walkways before deciding.

• What if my 4 seater doesn't fit through the door?

Measure your doorway, hallway and staircase before ordering — a four-seater is a large piece. If delivery is upstairs, let us know in advance so we can quote accurately. If access is tight, a modular option is delivered in sections and assembled inside. If in doubt, call us on 1300 781 990 and we'll help you work it out.

• Do you deliver 4 seater sofas across Brisbane and the Gold Coast?

Free local delivery is available on eligible items within 10 km of our Rocklea warehouse when you pay outright (not pay later), ground floor only, and free Click & Collect from Rocklea is available by appointment.
