The professional assembly service applies to ground-level rooms only. It is not available for apartments or for rooms located on an upper floor.
The service covers assembly of the product only. Removal and disposal of packaging materials is not included.
The A2Z Furniture Pty Ltd and its staff accept no liability for any accidental damage to the customer’s property that may occur while bringing goods inside or during assembly.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the pathway for delivering the goods is clear and unobstructed. Additional charges may apply if extra work is required to clear access.
To assess whether the assembly can be carried out safely and efficiently, The A2Z Furniture may request further information about the property, including photos or video of the layout.
If the product cannot be delivered to the intended room due to insufficient space, the delivery and assembly charges are non-refundable.
The A2Z Furniture reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to decline or cancel the assembly service. Where this occurs, any assembly fee already paid will be refunded in full.
Overview
Deep enough to lie on, tall enough to sit up in
Most oversized L-shapes make you choose: a deep seat you sink into, or a back you can actually sit up against. The Otway does both. Its chaise runs 156 cm deep, so lying down full-length is genuinely comfortable, while the backrest stands 90 cm high โ taller than most low-slung corner lounges โ for real shoulder support when you're upright with a book or a laptop. Four soft-edged modules span 337 cm on a low plinth base, in Beige or Grey, with the chaise on whichever side your room needs it.
A taller 90 cm back
Seven centimetres taller than our Opal L-shape, and it changes how the lounge is used โ you can sit upright and supported, not just recline. The fibre-filled back cushions keep it soft rather than rigid.
156 cm deep chaise
Deep enough to stretch out on properly rather than perch, and wide enough to share on a slow Sunday. It's the part of the lounge everyone in the house will argue over.
Left or right chaise
Pick the orientation that suits your room before ordering. Left- and right-hand is described as you sit on the lounge, and the side is fixed once it's built.
Eucalyptus wood frame
A eucalyptus hardwood and plywood frame carries S-springs, pocket coils and foam across the full width โ so the chaise, the middle modules and the arm end all sit level, not just when it's new.

Care instructions
Plump and rotate the cushions
Fibre fill compresses with use. A regular shake โ and swapping the seat cushions between positions โ keeps the wear even across all four modules.
Vacuum regularly
Use a soft brush attachment on a low setting, paying attention to the seams and the gap where the chaise meets the seat modules.
Spot-clean spills promptly
Blot with a clean, dry cloth, then treat marks with the Guardsman Fabric Care Kit.
Protect the fabric
Use Guardsman Fabric Protector to help guard against everyday spills and stains. Keep it out of prolonged direct sun, and avoid bleach, solvents and abrasive cleaners.

No. The chaise orientation is chosen at the time of purchase and cannot be reversed after delivery. Left- and right-hand is described as you sit on the lounge looking into the room, so plan your layout before ordering.
Both are plush fibre-filled L-shapes on a eucalyptus and plywood frame. The Opal is wider at 354 cm with a lower 83 cm back; the Otway is more compact at 337 cm and sits taller at 90 cm for more upright support. If your wall is tight, or you want a higher backrest, choose the Otway.

The seat cushions are polypropylene fibre fill over a sprung base of S-springs, pocket coils and foam, so the first impression is forgiving rather than firm, with the suspension underneath carrying the load. If you prefer a firmer, more structured seat, our team can point you to better-suited options in store.
