Overview
The soft, light one
A microfibre-filled pillow at 70 × 45 cm, and the softest option in our range. Microfibre is a fine synthetic fill that stays light and lofty rather than dense, so it cradles the head instead of pushing back the way foam does. If you find memory foam too firm or too warm, this is the other end of the range.
Microfibre filling
A fine synthetic fill that gives a light, airy feel. It compresses easily under the head, which is what makes it soft — and what makes it a poor match if you want firm support.
Generous 70 × 45 cm
Wider than a standard 48 × 73 cm pillow, so there is more room to move about. Check it against your pillowcase before you buy.
Soft rather than supportive
We would rather be straight about the trade-off: this is a soft pillow. If you need height held under your neck all night, a foam option in the range will do that better.
The lowest-priced pillow we stock
A sensible choice for a spare room, a child's bed, or a second pillow to sit behind your main one.
Finding your fit
Who is a soft microfibre pillow actually for?
Fill type matters as much as height. A soft, compressible fill behaves very differently from foam once your head is on it — it flattens more, so the effective height ends up lower than it looks. Here is how that plays out by sleeping position.
Stomach & back sleepers
Face down or on your back, the gap between head and mattress is small, and a soft fill that compresses down suits it well. This is the pillow in our range we would point a stomach sleeper to first.
People who like a soft pillow
If you have always found foam too firm, too warm, or too unyielding, a microfibre fill is the straightforward alternative. It is a preference as much as a fit — some people simply sleep better on something soft.
Side sleepers
Lying on your side leaves the widest gap, and a soft fill compresses under the weight of your head instead of holding it up. A memory foam option from the pillow range will generally hold its height better.
This is general guidance on pillow height, not a medical recommendation, and it is a starting point rather than a rule — your mattress firmness and your own build both change the answer. If you have neck or back pain, please talk to a health professional about what is right for you. Better still, come and rest your head on one at any of our five SE QLD showrooms.
Profile & sizeSize
At 70 × 45 cm this is wider than a standard 48 × 73 cm pillow, so it is worth checking against your pillowcases before you buy. With a soft, compressible fill, the height you actually sleep at comes down to your own weight and position rather than a fixed figure.

What microfibre is
Microfibre is a very fine synthetic fibre, spun and packed loosely to trap air. That trapped air is what makes the pillow light and soft. Compared with a foam core it compresses much more easily and recovers by being fluffed rather than by springing back, which is why a daily shake matters more on this type of pillow than on any other in the range.
Care & washingWashing it without wrecking it
Whether a microfibre pillow can go through a machine depends on how it is constructed, so the care label sewn into your pillow is the authority here.
Check the sewn-in label first
Many microfibre pillows are machine-washable on a gentle cycle. Read the care label on your pillow and follow what it says.
If in doubt, protect rather than wash
Use a pillowcase with a pillow protector underneath. That keeps the pillow itself clean and means washing it rarely becomes necessary in the first place — which sidesteps the question entirely.
Fluff it daily
Give the pillow a shake and a fluff each morning to redistribute the filling. It is the single easiest thing you can do to keep the surface even and the height consistent.
Use a pillow protector
The cheapest way to keep the pillow clean and cut down how often it needs washing at all.
Air it regularly
Strip the pillowcase back and let the pillow air for an hour or so when you change the bedding. It keeps things fresher between washes.
Keep it out of direct sun
Prolonged direct sunlight and high heat degrade filling and can yellow a cover. Dry in the shade.

What the warranty does not cover
- The gradual loss of loft that every filling develops with use. This is normal wear, not a fault.
- Damage caused by washing against the care instructions — machine-washing a filling that is spot-clean only, tumble-drying, bleaching or dry-cleaning.
- Staining, soiling or damage from spills, which is why we recommend a protector from day one.
- A change of mind about comfort or firmness. Firmness is personal, so please try it at one of our showrooms before you buy.
This warranty is in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Try one in person. Pillow height is personal and no amount of online description settles it. Rest your head on this one at any of our five SE QLD showrooms — Rocklea, Virginia, Bundall, North Ipswich and Beenleigh.

FAQ
Questions we get asked
Soft. Microfibre is a fine synthetic fill that compresses easily under the weight of your head, which is exactly what gives it that light, cushioned feel. If you want height held firmly under your neck all night, one of the memory foam pillows in our range will do that better.
Generally not our first pick for side sleeping. Lying on your side leaves the widest gap between your head and the mattress, and a soft compressible fill tends to flatten under that load rather than hold it up. Stomach and back sleepers usually get on better with a soft pillow like this one.
It depends on how the pillow is constructed, so check the care label sewn into it and follow what it says. Using a pillow protector under the pillowcase keeps the pillow clean and means washing it rarely becomes necessary at all.

Fill type matters as much as height when you are choosing a pillow. A soft, compressible fill flattens more under the weight of your head than a foam core does, so the effective height ends up lower than it looks. That suits stomach and back sleepers, who have only a small gap to fill between head and mattress. Side sleepers leave the widest gap and generally do better with something that holds its height — one of the memory foam options in the range.
