The layer that stops a pillow going yellow
Pillows absorb more than anything else on the bed — sweat, hair oils, moisturiser — and a pillowcase alone does not stop it. That is why an old pillow goes yellow. A protector sits between the pillowcase and the pillow, takes all of that instead, and goes through the wash. These come in a pack of two, which is one per side of a standard bed.
Waterproof backing
A barrier layer that stops liquid reaching the pillow itself — which matters most on a memory foam pillow, because foam can never be washed.

These are made to be washed regularly — more often than the pillow underneath ever could be. The only real constraint is heat.
Washing
Machine wash on a gentle cycle and follow the care label for temperature. Washing one while the other is on the bed is the practical advantage of buying them in a pair.
Avoid high heat
Do not use a hot wash, a hot tumble-dry, or an iron on the waterproof side. Heat degrades waterproof backings permanently. Line dry or tumble dry on low.

Your pillow protector is covered against manufacturing faults in materials and workmanship for 1 years from the date of purchase.
What the warranty does not cover
- Damage caused by washing against the care instructions — machine-washing a filling that is spot-clean only, tumble-drying, bleaching or dry-cleaning.
- Loss of waterproofing caused by heat — hot washing, hot tumble-drying or ironing the coated side. Heat damage to a waterproof backing is permanent and is not a manufacturing fault.
- Normal wear with age and repeated washing — fabric thinning and elastic that gradually loosens. This is expected wear, not a fault.
This warranty is in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
