Caring for your timber
Dust regularly
Wipe the timber with a soft, dry cloth to keep dust from settling into the open grain.
Avoid wet cloths
Skip soaking-wet cloths and harsh cleaners; a barely-damp cloth, dried straight after, is far kinder to the finish.
Use coasters
Stand cups, glasses and lamps on coasters or mats to guard the surface against rings and heat marks.
Polish occasionally
An occasional furniture polish or wax made for timber helps keep the acacia looking its best.
