Why Use a Dedicated Wood Cleaner
Household sprays and multipurpose cleaners can strip or dull a timber finish, leave residue, or damage veneer and sealed surfaces over time. The Guardsman Wood Care Kit uses formulas developed specifically for finished wood, so each product cleans and polishes effectively while protecting the finish — ideal for the veneer, laminate and sealed-timber surfaces used across most modern furniture.
1. Dust First
Use the Ultimate Dusting Cloth to remove loose dust and debris so it isn’t dragged across the finish during cleaning.
2. Test First
Apply a small amount to a hidden area to check the finish reacts well before treating the whole surface.
3. Clean
For built-up grime use Wood Deep Clean; for everyday care use Wood Clean & Polish, spraying lightly and wiping along the grain.
4. Polish & Buff
Buff with the soft applicator cloth to a streak-free sheen. Repeat regularly to keep timber protected and looking its best.
Guardsman Wood Care Kit — Full Product Details
The Guardsman Wood Care Kit is a four-piece set designed for the routine cleaning, polishing and upkeep of finished timber furniture. It includes a 354g Wood Deep Clean aerosol for lifting built-up grime, a 354g Wood Clean & Polish aerosol for everyday cleaning and shine, an Ultimate Dusting Cloth, and a soft applicator cloth for scratch-free application. Each formula is developed specifically for finished wood rather than general household use.
It is suitable for finished, sealed timber surfaces — including veneer, painted and stained finishes found on most modern dining tables, coffee tables, TV units, console tables and bedroom furniture. It should not be used on raw, unsealed, oiled or waxed wood, as these open finishes can react differently; if you are unsure, test a small hidden area first.
Using products made for timber helps avoid the residue, dulling or finish damage that can come from multipurpose cleaners, keeping your furniture looking its best for longer. The kit works alongside the Guardsman Leather Care Kit and Fabric Care Kit for whole-home furniture care. Pick Up.
You can order online and pick up for free from our Rocklea Distribution Warehouse at 48 Randolph St, Rocklea QLD 4106, but only by appointment. Call 07 3161 5415 to arrange pickup, and bring your order confirmation email and photo ID to the store.
If you paid by credit card, the cardholder must be there with photo ID to verify details.
Note that when using POLI Internet Banking, goods can be picked up or delivered only after funds are received in our Bank Account. We'll email you about this.
If someone else is picking up for you, contact us beforehand, or you won't get your goods.

If products are delayed, our sales team will tell you when they contact you.
You must provide your own transportation materials (strapping, rope, protective coverings) for Pick Up purchases. We don't provide them.
Delivery.
The cost of delivery is determined by the item and distance. To check the delivery charge, enter your details at checkout. If you have questions about delivery to distant locations, our sales team can help. Contact them before or after your online order.

Important Delivery Notes
- Delivery is to ground level / front garage only. Extra charges apply for bringing items inside. See our Assembly Terms and Conditions for full details.
- If delivery is to an upstairs area, tell the store to get a quote.

- If no one is available at the delivery address and time, we will contact you to arrange re-delivery, and extra charges may apply.

- The delivery charge is non-refundable, so ask us any questions before ordering.

Our free local delivery service is built around our Rocklea warehouse and supports homes across the wider Brisbane metro area. If you live within 10 km of Rocklea (measured via Google Maps), your order may qualify automatically at checkout.
Outside the 10 km zone? We still deliver throughout South-East Queensland and beyond at competitive freight rates. Contact our team for a tailored quote on your postcode.
What's Included With Your Free Delivery
We keep things straightforward so there are no surprises on the day. Here's exactly what to expect when your order qualifies for free local delivery:
Your eligible items are dispatched from our Rocklea warehouse, typically within 3 to 7 working days, depending on stock availability. Delivery is to ground level or front garage only — the driver will not bring goods inside, take them upstairs or unpack them. If you'd like assembly or in-home placement, you can add this at checkout under our Assembly Terms.
How Free Local Delivery Works
Free Local Delivery Terms & Conditions
The following Terms and Conditions apply. Free local delivery is available on selected items only. If a product qualifies, the offer will be automatically applied during the checkout process. For any detailed information, please get in touch with our team.
- Available for outright payments only (No Payment Plan, Layby).
- Only available for addresses that are less than 10 km from our Rocklea Warehouse. The distance is determined using Google Maps.
- Delivery is strict till the garage / ground floor. The driver will not take it inside, upstairs or unpack the goods.
- The standard delivery time frame is within 3 to 7 working days, and there might be delays depending on stock availability.
- The delivery driver may call you from a private number before delivery; if the customer does not answer the phone, the driver will not attempt delivery unless instructed to leave goods at the property.
- The A2Z Furniture has complete discretion to change any policy aspect without prior notice.

If you'd rather collect your order yourself, free pickup is available from our Rocklea warehouse by appointment. Call 07 3161 5415 with your order confirmation and photo ID ready. For credit card payments, the cardholder must be present at pickup. You'll need to bring your own straps, ropes and protective coverings to safely transport your furniture.
