Overview
Solid acacia, in the length your room can take
The Jayden Dining Table is a modern farmhouse table built from solid acacia hardwood — real timber, not board or veneer. The top is left natural so the grain and knots show, over four chunky square legs in the same timber. It comes in two lengths: 160 cm for a four-to-six seat everyday table, or 180 cm when you regularly seat six. It arrives flat-packed and takes an electric drill to build, or add assembly at checkout and we'll do it for you.
Solid Acacia Hardwood
Top and base are both solid acacia — a genuine hardwood with rich natural grain and serious longevity. Heavier and more durable than MDF or veneer, and it takes the knocks a family dining table collects. Grain and tone vary piece to piece; that's the material, not a flaw.
Two Lengths, One Table
160 cm suits an everyday four-to-six seat table in a compact dining space; 180 cm gives you a genuine six-seater with room down the centre. Same width, same height, same finish — pick on your room, not your budget.
Natural Grain and Knots on Show
The finish is deliberately honest: visible grain, visible knots, no printed woodgrain pretending to be timber. It's what makes each Jayden piece read as real wood across the room.
Corner Legs, No Pedestal
Legs at the corners rather than a centre pedestal means chairs pull straight out along both long sides, and the two ends stay usable when you need the extra seats.
Seats & space
How many it seats, and the room it needs
A dining table is the one piece people most often buy too big for the room. Three checks settle it — how many it really seats, how much floor it needs, and whether your chairs fit underneath. Here's how the Jayden measures up against the Australian rules of thumb.
- Allow 60 cm of table edge per person. At 160 cm that's two comfortable settings a side — four in total, or six once you seat the two ends, which is how the Jayden 7 Piece Set is configured. At 180 cm you get three a side, so six is comfortable without using the ends.
- Leave 90 cm clear on every side. That's the Australian standard for pulling a chair out and walking behind it. Add 180 cm to each of the table's dimensions: about 3.4 m × 2.7 m for the 160 cm, or 3.6 m × 2.7 m for the 180 cm. Near a kitchen walkway, allow 105–120 cm of clearance instead.
- Check your chair seat height. The top sits at 78 cm, slightly above the 71–76 cm norm. A dining chair with a 45–48 cm seat height gives comfortable knee room; very low or heavily padded seats will feel cramped. The matching Jayden Dining Chair is made to pair with it.
- Measure the doorway, not just the room. It ships flat, so getting it in is straightforward — but once built it won't turn a tight corner. Build it in the room it's staying in.
Not sure which length? Mark both footprints on your floor with masking tape — 160 × 90 cm and 180 × 90 cm — and sit a chair at each before you order. Or call our showroom team on 07 3161 5415 and we'll talk it through against your room measurements.

Styling
Chairs, and what goes on top
The straightforward route is the matching Jayden Dining Chair — or the Jayden 7 Piece Set, which is the 1.6 m table with six chairs in one purchase. If you'd rather mix, natural acacia is an easy base to build on: black metal café chairs give it an industrial-farmhouse edge, rattan or bentwood chairs soften it, and upholstered linen chairs take it formal. Keep the centre clear with one long runner, a low bowl or a pair of candles.

Acacia is a natural material — each piece shows slight differences in grain pattern, knots and tone, which is part of its character rather than a defect. The same solid acacia and natural finish runs across the whole Jayden range, so pieces bought at different times still match.
Caring for your table
Use placemats & coasters
Hot plates, hot pans and wet glasses are what mark a dining top. Placemats, coasters and a trivet under anything straight off the stove will do more for this table than any polish.
Wipe it down after meals
A soft, dry or barely damp microfibre cloth is enough. Don't let spills sit — wipe them up rather than leaving liquid to soak in.
Go easy on the cleaners
Skip abrasive scourers and harsh chemicals, which dull the finish. Mild soap on a damp cloth handles anything a dry cloth won't.
Keep out of direct sun
Strong direct sunlight fades timber finishes over time. Place away from harsh sun, or close curtains during the brightest hours.
What's in the box
Flat-packed, drill required
The Jayden Dining Table ships flat-packed — the top with the legs and fittings packed alongside. Assembly is straightforward but it does need an electric drill; a screwdriver alone won't do it. If you'd rather not, add assembly to your order above and our team will build it in your home on delivery.

- Assembly
- Required — electric drill needed (assembly add-on available)

The price is for the dining table alone — chairs and styling props are not included. Images are for illustration only; the actual product might be slightly different. We highly recommend you visit the store before the purchase.
Delivery & pickup
Two ways to get it home
Delivery cost is calculated by item and distance — enter your details in the estimator above, or at checkout. Delivery is to ground level / front garage only. The table travels flat-packed, so doorways and stairs are rarely a problem; add assembly above if you'd like it built in the room on delivery.
Collect free from our Rocklea distribution warehouse by appointment. The cartons are flat but long, so bring a vehicle that can take a 1.6–1.8 m table packed down — a ute, van or trailer, or a wagon with the seats folded. Bring your order confirmation and photo ID. For full terms, see our Pickup & Delivery Terms.
Change-of-mind returns are accepted under our Return Policy; full conditions apply.

FAQ
Common questions
Pick on your room, not your guest list. The 160 cm seats four comfortably down the sides and six once you use the two ends; the 180 cm seats six without needing the ends. Allow 90 cm of clear floor around whichever you choose — that's 3.4 × 2.7 m of room for the 160 cm and 3.6 × 2.7 m for the 180 cm.
The 160 cm seats four at the Australian standard of 60 cm of table edge per person, or six with a chair at each end — which is how the Jayden 7 Piece Set is put together. The 180 cm gives you three settings a side, so six is comfortable.
Yes — both the top and the base are solid acacia hardwood, not MDF, particle board or veneer. The finish is left natural so the grain and knots show. Because it's a natural timber, grain and tone vary slightly piece to piece.
Yes. It arrives flat-packed and needs an electric drill to build — a screwdriver on its own isn't enough. If you'd rather not, add table assembly to your order and our team will build it in your home on delivery.
The top sits at 78 cm, slightly above the usual 71–76 cm. Chairs with a seat height of about 45–48 cm give comfortable knee room; very low seats or thickly padded ones will feel tight. The matching Jayden Dining Chair is made to pair with this table.
No — the price is for the table alone. The matching Jayden Dining Chair is sold separately, or you can buy the Jayden 7 Piece Dining Set, which is the 1.6 m table together with six chairs.
Yes — the Jayden range includes the matching Dining Chair and 7 Piece Dining Set, plus a Coffee Table, TV Unit, Bed Frame, Bedside Table, Tallboy and Dresser, all in the same solid acacia with the natural finish.
Full details
Jayden Dining Table — full product details
The Jayden Dining Table is a modern farmhouse dining table built from solid acacia hardwood, available in two lengths: 160 cm or 180 cm, both 90 cm wide and 78 cm high. The top is finished natural so the grain and knots stay visible, carried on four chunky square legs in the same solid acacia. Legs sit at the corners rather than on a centre pedestal, so chairs pull straight out along both long sides and the ends stay usable.
At the Australian standard of 60 cm of table edge per person, the 160 cm seats four down the sides and six once the ends are used — the configuration of the Jayden 7 Piece Dining Set. The 180 cm gives three settings a side for a comfortable six. Allow at least 90 cm of clear floor on every side so chairs can be pulled out and people can walk behind them: roughly 3.4 m × 2.7 m of room for the 160 cm, or 3.6 m × 2.7 m for the 180 cm. At 78 cm the top is a little taller than the common 71–76 cm range, so pair it with dining chairs of about 45–48 cm seat height.
The table ships flat-packed and requires an electric drill to assemble — in-home assembly can be added to your order. It carries a 1-year warranty. Images are for illustration only; the actual product might be slightly different — we highly recommend you visit the store before the purchase. It is part of the wider Jayden range alongside the matching Jayden Dining Chair, 7 Piece Dining Set, Jayden Coffee Table and Jayden TV Unit. See it in person at any of our five A2Z Furniture showrooms: Rocklea, Virginia, Bundall (Gold Coast), North Ipswich and Beenleigh.
