About the Materials

The Homestead Console Table is built from solid acacia wood — a hardwood prized for its rich grain, natural durability, and ability to take a distressed finish without losing structural integrity. The white frame is painted and the timber panels are finished in a weathered, layered driftwood style, with brown, grey, and whitewashed tones blending into the visible grain. Because acacia is a natural material, each piece may show slight differences in grain pattern and tonal variation, adding to its individual character.

Care Instructions

Dust the Timber Top

Wipe the distressed timber top and drawer fronts with a soft, dry microfibre cloth weekly. The textured weathered finish is more forgiving of marks than a flat finish, but regular dusting keeps the grain looking its best.

Wipe the White Frame

Wipe the white painted frame with a soft, slightly damp cloth as needed. For marks or scuffs, a small amount of mild soap on a damp cloth usually does the job — skip abrasive scourers and harsh chemicals.

Use Trays Under Vases

If using the console as a styling surface for flowers or plants, use trays or coasters under vases and pots. Solid timber tops can mark from water rings if liquids are left to soak in.

Keep Out of Direct Sun

Direct sunlight over time can fade timber finishes and yellow the white paint. If you can, position the console away from windows that get strong direct sun, or close the curtains during the brightest part of the day.

Pick Up.

You can order online and pick up for free from our Rocklea Distribution Warehouse at 48 Randolph St, Rocklea QLD 4106, but only by appointment. Call 07 3161 5415 to arrange pickup, and bring your order confirmation email and photo ID to the store.

If you paid by credit card, the cardholder must be there with photo ID to verify details.

Note that when using POLI Internet Banking, goods can be picked up or delivered only after funds are received in our Bank Account. We'll email you about this.

If someone else is picking up for you, contact us beforehand, or you won't get your goods.

You must provide your own transportation materials (strapping, rope, protective coverings) for Pick Up purchases. We don't provide them.

We keep things straightforward so there are no surprises on the day. Here's exactly what to expect when your order qualifies for free local delivery:

Your eligible items are dispatched from our Rocklea warehouse, typically within 3 to 7 working days, depending on stock availability. Delivery is to ground level or front garage only — the driver will not bring goods inside, take them upstairs or unpack them. If you'd like assembly or in-home placement, you can add this at checkout under our Assembly Terms.

The following Terms and Conditions apply. Free local delivery is available on selected items only. If a product qualifies, the offer will be automatically applied during the checkout process. For any detailed information, please get in touch with our team.

  • Available for outright payments only (No Payment Plan, Layby).
  • Only available for addresses that are less than 10 km from our Rocklea Warehouse. The distance is determined using Google Maps.
  • Delivery is strict till the garage / ground floor. The driver will not take it inside, upstairs or unpack the goods.
  • The standard delivery time frame is within 3 to 7 working days, and there might be delays depending on stock availability.
  • The delivery driver may call you from a private number before delivery; if the customer does not answer the phone, the driver will not attempt delivery unless instructed to leave goods at the property.
  • The A2Z Furniture has complete discretion to change any policy aspect without prior notice.
