The professional assembly service applies to ground-level rooms only. It is not available for apartments or for rooms located on an upper floor.
The service covers assembly of the product only. Removal and disposal of packaging materials is not included.
The A2Z Furniture Pty Ltd and its staff accept no liability for any accidental damage to the customer’s property that may occur while bringing goods inside or during assembly.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the pathway for delivering the goods is clear and unobstructed. Additional charges may apply if extra work is required to clear access.
To assess whether the assembly can be carried out safely and efficiently, The A2Z Furniture may request further information about the property, including photos or video of the layout.
If the product cannot be delivered to the intended room due to insufficient space, the delivery and assembly charges are non-refundable.
The A2Z Furniture reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to decline or cancel the assembly service. Where this occurs, any assembly fee already paid will be refunded in full.
Overview
A well-supported everyday stool
The Carnival is grid-quilted fabric on a sturdy gas-lift column, with a full footrest ring for genuine foot support at any height. It adjusts from 63 cm to 83 cm and swivels a full circle, in black or grey. The price is for two stools.
Grid-Quilted Upholstery
An even grid pattern runs across the seat and 34 cm backrest, giving the fabric structure and a tailored finish.
Gas Lift, 63–83 cm
A 20 cm range covers both a standard 87–91 cm kitchen bench and a 101–106 cm bar table.
360° Swivel
The seat turns a full circle on the base, so you can slide in and out without dragging the stool across the floor.
Matte Base & Full Footrest
A weighted matte base and a wide footrest ring give your feet somewhere secure to rest at any height in the range.

Will it fit your bench?
Leave 25–30 cm between the top of the seat and the underside of your bench — the rule that connects Australia's two standard heights to any stool. Here's how the Carnival's 63–83 cm range measures up.
- Measure to the underside of your bench, not the top. Subtract 25–30 cm and that's your target seat height.
- A standard kitchen bench (87–91 cm): yes. The 63 cm minimum sits comfortably underneath.
- A bar table or raised island (101–106 cm): yes, wound up towards the 83 cm top of its range.
- Allow about 60 cm of bench per stool. A 120 cm bench takes two, 180 cm takes three, 240 cm takes four.

Gas lift & swivel
How the height adjustment works
A lever under the seat raises and lowers the Carnival on its gas-lift cylinder; release it and it locks at whatever height you've set. The seat swivels a full 360° independently of the base.

Blot straight away with a clean dry cloth rather than rubbing them in.
Vacuum the grid seams
A soft brush attachment lifts dust out of the quilted stitching.
Check the fittings
Nip the base and seat fittings after a few weeks, then once or twice a year.
Keep out of direct sun
Strong sunlight fades fabric over time.

Design & materials
The Carnival Bar Stool is a grid-quilted fabric gas-lift kitchen bar stool sold as a set of two, with a 45 cm wide by 38 cm deep seat and a 34 cm backrest on a matte black column and weighted round base.
The seat adjusts from 63 cm to 83 cm and swivels a full 360°, and each stool is rated to 100 kg for normal domestic use. A full footrest ring gives genuine foot support at any height in the range.
