The service covers assembly of the product only. Removal and disposal of packaging materials is not included.
The A2Z Furniture Pty Ltd and its staff accept no liability for any accidental damage to the customer’s property that may occur while bringing goods inside or during assembly.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the pathway for delivering the goods is clear and unobstructed. Additional charges may apply if extra work is required to clear access.
To assess whether the assembly can be carried out safely and efficiently, The A2Z Furniture may request further information about the property, including photos or video of the layout.
If the product cannot be delivered to the intended room due to insufficient space, the delivery and assembly charges are non-refundable.
The A2Z Furniture reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to decline or cancel the assembly service. Where this occurs, any assembly fee already paid will be refunded in full.

The Cobalt is upholstered in a hard-wearing technology fabric with a diamond-stitch pattern across the seat and back — a tailored look with a practical weave underneath. At 50 cm it has one of the wider seats in our range, and it sits on a matte black gas-lift pedestal that adjusts from 60 cm to 80 cm and swivels a full circle. Choose brown or black. The price is for two stools.
Diamond-Stitched Upholstery
A diagonal quilted pattern runs across the seat and 35 cm backrest, giving the technology fabric a tailored, upholstered-furniture look rather than a plain padded surface.

Leave 25–30 cm between the top of the seat and the underside of your bench — the rule that connects Australia's two standard heights to any stool. Here's how the Cobalt's 60–80 cm range measures up, and why its 50 cm seat changes the second calculation.
- Measure to the underside of your bench, not the top. Subtract 25–30 cm and that's your target seat height.
- A standard kitchen bench (87–91 cm): yes. The 60 cm minimum sits comfortably underneath.
- A bar table or raised island (101–106 cm): yes, wound up towards the 80 cm top of its range.
- Allow about 65 cm of bench per stool, not the usual 60. At 50 cm wide the seat is broader than most in our range — a 180 cm bench comfortably fits two Cobalts rather than three.

How the height adjustment works
A lever under the seat raises and lowers the Cobalt on its gas-lift cylinder; release it and it locks at whatever height you've set. The seat swivels a full 360° independently of the base.

Technology fabric is one of the more forgiving upholsteries in our range day to day — tightly woven, with a texture that hides light marks better than a smooth surface.
Caring for your stools
Blot spills early
Blot straight away with a clean dry cloth rather than rubbing them in. A fabric protector applied when new works far better than treating a stain later.
Vacuum the stitching
A soft brush attachment lifts dust out of the diamond-stitch seams — a spot the fabric collects more than a flat surface.
Check the fittings
Nip the base and seat fittings after a few weeks, then once or twice a year.
Keep out of direct sun
Strong sunlight fades fabric over time.

Design & materials
The Cobalt Bar Stool is a diamond-stitched technology-fabric gas-lift kitchen bar stool sold as a set of two, with one of the wider seats in our range at 50 cm by 40 cm deep and a 35 cm backrest.
The seat adjusts from 60 cm to 80 cm and swivels a full 360°, and each stool is rated to 100 kg for normal domestic use. The column, footrest and weighted round base are matte black on both the brown and black colourways.
