Overview
Support first, plush on top
Posture Delight is a supportive pocket spring mattress with a plush, cushioned top. A 20 cm pocket spring core with a firmer wire gives steady, responsive support, while a thick comfort foam layer and convoluted foam quilting soften the surface for a pillow-top feel. At a balanced 7 out of 10 it holds you up while staying comfortable — a popular all-rounder. It arrives compressed and rolled in a box, ready to unroll at home.

Feel & firmness
How firm is it, and who is it for?
Posture Delight sits firm — supportive underneath with a cushioned top, rather than a soft, sink-in surface. Here is exactly where it lands, and who tends to get on best with it.

Firmness is subjective — how firm a mattress feels varies with body weight and sleeping position. We recommend trying it in person at one of our five SE QLD showrooms before you decide.

All sizes follow Australian Standard mattress dimensions. Spring counts are for the pocket spring layer and increase with size. Super King is available — its spring count and boxed dimensions are still being confirmed with our supplier, so we have left them blank rather than estimate; call 07 3161 5415 and we will measure the current stock for you. Measurements are taken by hand and can vary slightly between shipments.
🧭Room clearance
Allow 60–75 cm around the piece to move comfortably; remember the frame footprint runs a few cm larger than the mattress.
📐Total height
Total height = base + your mattress, so a tall base plus a deep mattress can sit high — worth checking for getting in and out.

Care instructions
Rotate, don't flip
Turn it head-to-foot every few months so it wears evenly. Posture Delight is single-sided — the comfort layers are only on top, so flipping it puts you on the base.
Use a protector
A protector keeps the knitted cover clean and guards against everyday spills. Staining is not covered by the warranty, so this is the cheapest insurance you can buy.
Let it breathe
Air it out from time to time and keep the room well ventilated — strip the bed back for an hour or so when you change the sheets.
Spot clean only
Use a damp cloth and a mild cleaner on marks. Never soak the mattress or use harsh chemicals, and never dry clean it.

What's in the boxHow it arrives & unboxing
Posture Delight is compressed, rolled and boxed — one box per mattress. That is what makes it easy to fit in a vehicle and carry through a doorway or up a stairwell before you unroll it.
| In the box | 1 × mattress, compressed and rolled |
|---|---|
| Boxed size (selected size) | 100 × 33 × 33 cm |
| Number of boxes | 1 |
| Assembly | None — unroll and let it expand |
Unbox where it will live
Carry the box into the bedroom and get it onto the base before you cut the wrapping. Once it starts expanding it is much harder to move.
Ready within hours
It starts expanding as soon as it is unwrapped and is generally ready to sleep on within a few hours. Like all rolled mattresses it can keep settling over the following days.
Don't re-roll or fold it
Once expanded it is not designed to be compressed again. Folding or bending it can damage the spring unit and is not covered by the warranty.
Easy to pick up
The boxed dimensions above make it straightforward to plan a pickup from our Rocklea warehouse in most vehicles with the seats down.
New foam and fabric can carry a faint manufacturing smell when first unwrapped. Airing the room for a few hours clears it. Boxed dimensions for Super King are still being confirmed — call 07 3161 5415 before planning a Super King pickup.

Base & frame
What base does this mattress need?
The most common question we get on a mattress — and the one most listings never answer. The base underneath matters as much as the mattress itself, both for how it feels and for your warranty.
Bases this mattress suits
Use it on a solid or platform base, a slatted base with evenly spaced slats, an ensemble base. The surface underneath needs to be flat and fully supportive across the whole mattress — no box spring required.
Slat spacing
As a general industry guide, slat gaps of more than about 7.5 cm can leave a mattress under-supported and may affect your warranty. If you are not sure what your base measures, send us a photo or call 07 3161 5415 and we will check it with you before you order.
Need a frame to match?
Every Australian size pairs with a frame of the same name — a Single mattress goes in a Single frame. Browse matching bed frames →
An unsupportive or incorrectly spaced base can affect both comfort and your warranty — see the warranty section below.
Warranty5-year warranty & your rights
Your mattress is covered against manufacturing faults in materials and workmanship for 5 years from the date of purchase.
What the warranty does not cover
- Damage caused by an unsupportive base — a sagging base, or slats spaced too far apart. See “What base does this need?” above.
- The gradual softening and body impressions that all comfort layers develop with normal use. This is expected settling, not a fault.
- Damage from misuse, standing or jumping on the mattress, bending or folding it, or moving it without proper support.
- A change of mind about comfort or firmness. Firmness is personal, so please try it at one of our showrooms before you buy.
No online trial — something better. Firmness is personal and no amount of online description settles it. Lie on this mattress at any of our five SE QLD showrooms — Rocklea, Virginia, Bundall, North Ipswich and Beenleigh — and buy it knowing exactly how it feels.
This warranty is in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

It sits firm — around 7 on a 1 to 10 scale — supportive underneath with a cushioned top. That balance suits back and combination sleepers, and anyone who wants support without a hard surface. Firmness is subjective, so we would always suggest trying it in person at one of our five SE QLD showrooms before you decide.
Yes. The springs are individually wrapped (pocket springs), so they move largely on their own rather than as one connected unit. That helps absorb movement and limit the disturbance you feel when someone shifts or gets in and out of bed.
It starts expanding as soon as it is unwrapped and is generally ready to sleep on within a few hours. Like most rolled mattresses, it can keep settling over the following days. New foam and fabric can carry a faint manufacturing smell at first — airing the room for a few hours clears it.
No. Posture Delight is single-sided, with the comfort layers on top, so it is not designed to be flipped. Rotate it head-to-foot every few months so it wears evenly.
Single (92 × 187 cm), King Single (106 × 203 cm), Double (137 × 187 cm), Queen (153 × 203 cm), King (183 × 203 cm) and Super King (203 × 203 cm) — all Australian Standard dimensions. Per-size spring counts and boxed dimensions are in the Dimensions section. Super King spring count and boxed size are still being confirmed with our supplier, so call us if you need those figures before ordering.
No — the comfort top is convoluted foam quilting over a comfort foam layer, not latex. If you are after a latex-topped feel, our Tencel Ortho Rest is the one to look at instead.
Yes — and we would rather you did. We do not run an online sleep trial, because we think lying on a mattress beats reading about one. Posture Delight is on display across our five SE QLD showrooms in Rocklea, Virginia, Beenleigh, Bundall (Gold Coast) and North Ipswich. Floor models can vary, so call ahead if you want a specific size. For change-of-mind and faults, see our warranty and returns policy — and note your rights under Australian Consumer Law always apply on top of any warranty.
Full detailsPosture Delight Pocket Spring Mattress — full product details
The Posture Delight is a supportive pocket spring mattress: a 20 cm core with a firmer 2.3 mm wire, carrying 5 cm of comfort foam and a convoluted foam quilted top over cotton felt pads, in a 28 cm profile. The spring core gives steady, responsive support, while the comfort foam and quilting soften the surface for a pillow-top feel. Our mattress buying guide covers firmness, spring structure and materials in more detail.
It comes in six Australian Standard sizes — Single, King Single, Double, Queen, King and Super King — with pocket spring counts that increase with size (from 450 in a Single to 960 in a King). Firm — around 7 out of 10 — it suits back and combination sleepers and anyone after a supportive feel with a cushioned surface, while the individually wrapped springs help limit partner disturbance for couples. Posture Delight arrives compressed and rolled in a box, and works on any solid, slatted or ensemble base without a box spring.
Pair it with a bamboo waterproof mattress protector to keep the cover clean, and browse our pocket spring and medium firm mattress ranges, or the full mattress in a box collection. Need a frame too?
