To assess whether the assembly can be carried out safely and efficiently, The A2Z Furniture may request further information about the property, including photos or video of the layout.
If the product cannot be delivered to the intended room due to insufficient space, the delivery and assembly charges are non-refundable.
The A2Z Furniture reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to decline or cancel the assembly service. Where this occurs, any assembly fee already paid will be refunded in full.

The headboard is a full bookcase — a flat display shelf runs the full width across the very top, with multiple open cubby compartments of varying widths underneath for books, decor, alarm clocks or bedside essentials. Two more drawers sit at the footend for hidden storage. Crafted in solid acacia wood with warm honey tones and visible grain throughout, in a relaxed rustic-modern style. Available in Queen and King.

Slat base, no box spring
The wooden slat base with centre support bar holds the mattress directly — no box spring or extra foundation needed. Works with foam, hybrid and spring mattresses.

Slat base included — suited to spring mattresses, and supports most foam and hybrid mattresses too. If you're matching a specific foam or hybrid mattress, check the slat spacing with our team before ordering, since some foam-mattress warranties require gaps under ~7.5 cm.

Keep clear floor at the foot of the bed for the drawer; the castors need a clear path, so lift any rugs out of the way.
📦Ships flat-packed
Cartons clear a standard ~80 cm doorway even when the assembled piece is large. Still worth measuring for the bigger sizes.
🧭Room clearance
Allow 60–75 cm around the piece to move comfortably; remember the frame footprint runs a few cm larger than the mattress.
🚙Pickup vehicle
For free Rocklea pickup, a flat-pack fits most cars, but an assembled or oversized item needs a van, ute or trailer.

Care instructions
Dust the bookcase weekly
The bookcase cubbies and top display shelf collect dust faster than flat panels — clear them out and wipe through with a soft dry cloth weekly.
Damp, never wet on the timber
Use a barely-damp cloth for spills and dry immediately. Standing water can mark the timber finish, particularly on the open cubby surfaces.
Use coasters & plant saucers
If you're placing plants, drinks or lamps on the top shelf or in the cubbies, use coasters and waterproof saucers to protect the timber.
Keep away from direct sunlight
Prolonged direct sun can fade the natural acacia tone over time — position away from unfiltered window light where possible.
