Overview

A matched dining room in one purchase

The Jayden 7 Piece Dining Set with 1.8 m Table pairs the 180 cm Jayden Dining Table with 6 matching Jayden Dining Chairs — one table, 6 seats, one order. Both pieces are built on solid acacia hardwood: the table in the range's warm natural finish, the chairs on the same timber with a slatted backrest and a cushioned seat in dark brown PU faux leather. Buying them together means they come from one finish run, so the timber tones agree rather than nearly agreeing — the one thing you cannot get buying the pieces months apart.

Solid Acacia Throughout

Table top, table base and chair frames are all solid acacia — a genuine hardwood, not MDF or veneer. It is heavier and more durable than board, and it takes the knocks a family dining set collects. Each piece varies slightly in grain and tone; that is the material, not a flaw.

Wipe-Clean Seats

The cushioned seats are dark brown PU faux leather over the timber frame — not animal leather, and we don't call it that. It wipes down after a meal rather than needing a fabric clean, which is the practical choice for a table that gets used every night.

180 cm of Table

Three settings down each side at the standard 60 cm per person — six, without needing the ends. At 90 cm wide there is still a runway down the centre for serving dishes, boards and candles rather than a bare strip between placemats.

One Delivery, One Build

Everything arrives together instead of two orders weeks apart. The chairs need no tools at all; the table takes an electric drill, or add set assembly above and we will handle it in the room.

Does it fit?

What "7 piece" really seats, and the room it needs

A dining set is the piece people most often buy too big for the room — and the one where the number on the box and the number of people who actually fit can quietly disagree. Here are the real numbers for this set, taken from the table's and the chairs' own measurements.

Dining sizing guide: allow 60 cm of table edge per person, leave at least 90 cm of clear floor on every side, pair a 71 to 78 cm high table with chairs of 45 to 48 cm seat height for 25 to 30 cm of knee room, and a table-length-to-seats ready reckoner from 120 cm seating four up to 270 cm seating ten.
6Three settings down each side at the standard 60 cm per person — six, without needing the ends.
3.6 × 2.7 mMinimum room size, allowing the 90 cm of clearance you need to pull chairs out.
78 cmTable height — a touch above the usual 71–76 cm, so check your chair seats if you mix in others.
  • "7 piece" means one table and 6 chairs. Three settings down each side at the standard 60 cm per person — six, without needing the ends. We would rather set that out now than have you count places after it arrives.
  • Leave 90 cm clear on every side. That is the Australian standard for pulling a chair out and walking behind it. Add 180 cm to each of the table's dimensions and you get the minimum room: about 3.6 × 2.7 m. If the set sits near a kitchen walkway, aim for 105–120 cm of clearance instead — roughly 3.9 × 3.0 m.
  • On seat height, we would rather say we don't know. This table stands 78 cm. These are the chairs from the same range and the ones we recommend for it — but our supplier's sheet gives only their 115 cm overall height, not the seat height, so we cannot publish an exact knee clearance and will not invent one. If it matters for your order, call 07 3161 5415 and we will measure a floor piece.
  • The chairs tuck, the backs stand clear. Each chair is 50 cm wide and 45 cm deep, so they sit along the table at the standard 60 cm-per-person spacing. The seats slide under the top; the 115 cm backs stand above it, so measure your walkway to the chair backs rather than to the table edge.
  • Measure the doorway, not just the room. The table ships flat-packed, so getting it in is easy — but once built it is 180 cm long and will not turn a tight corner. Build it in the room it is staying in.

Not sure it fits? Mark out 180 × 90 cm on your floor with masking tape, then add 90 cm all round and see what is left. Or call our showroom team on 07 3161 5415 — we will talk it through against your room measurements, and you can see the range set up at our Rocklea showroom.

Materials & care

Solid acacia, PU faux leather seats

Table
Solid acacia hardwood (top and base) — a genuine hardwood, not MDF or veneer
Chair frame
Solid acacia hardwood frame with a slatted timber backrest and square chunky legs braced by stretcher rails
Chair seat
Cushioned seat in dark brown PU (polyurethane) faux leather — not animal leather
Warranty
1 year on every piece

Acacia is a natural material — each piece shows slight differences in grain pattern and tone, which is part of its character rather than a defect. Buying the table and chairs together as a set means they come from the same finish run, so the timber tones sit together. The same acacia runs across the whole Jayden range, so pieces bought later still match.

Caring for your set

🍽️

Use placemats & coasters

Hot plates, hot pans and wet glasses are what mark a timber dining top. Placemats, coasters and a trivet under anything straight off the stove will do more for this table than any polish.

🧹

Wipe the timber

A soft, dry or barely damp microfibre cloth after meals is enough for the table and the chair frames. Don't let spills sit — wipe them up rather than leaving liquid to soak into the grain.

🪑

Clean the PU seats

Wipe the faux leather with a damp cloth and dry it off. Skip solvents, bleach and alcohol wipes — they dry PU out and it eventually cracks. Keep sharp objects and pet claws off the seat surface.

☀️

Keep out of direct sun

Strong direct sunlight fades timber finishes and is the main cause of PU hardening and cracking. Place the set away from harsh sun, or close curtains during the brightest hours.

🔧

Check the chair fittings

Chair joints loosen with everyday use — every few months, give the legs and stretcher rails a gentle check and hand-tighten anything that has worked loose. It is the single best thing you can do for a dining chair's lifespan.

🧴

Treat the timber

The acacia is sealed, not raw, so it needs feeding rather than oiling. The Guardsman kit above is formulated for sealed timber and covers the table and the chair frames — it is not a PU treatment.

What's in the box

One thing to build

The table arrives flat-packed, with the top and the legs and fittings packed alongside. It needs an electric drill; a screwdriver alone won't do it. The 6 chairs need no tools at all — unpack them and they are ready to sit at the table. If you would rather not do the table yourself, add set assembly to your order above and our team will handle it in your home on delivery.

Delivery & pickup

Two ways to get it home

Delivery cost is calculated by item and distance — enter your details in the estimator above, or at checkout. Delivery is to ground level / front garage only. The set travels as multiple cartons on one delivery, all of them flat or boxed, so doorways and stairs are rarely a problem. Add set assembly above if you'd like it handled in the room on delivery.

Collect free from our Rocklea distribution warehouse by appointment. Plan for a long flat table carton plus a box per chair — that needs a van, a large trailer or two trips in a ute. Our supplier doesn't list the carton sizes, so call 07 3161 5415 before you come and we'll measure them for you. Bring your order confirmation and photo ID. For full terms, see our Pickup & Delivery Terms.

Change-of-mind returns are accepted under our Return Policy; full conditions apply.

FAQ

Common questions

7 pieces: one Jayden Dining Table and 6 Jayden Dining Chairs. Nothing else shown in the photographs is included — the styling props are there to give a sense of scale.

Six comfortably, and six chairs are supplied. At 180 cm you get three settings down each side at the Australian standard of 60 cm of table edge per person, so nobody has to sit at an end unless you want them to.

The table top sits at 78 cm, a little above the usual 71–76 cm. These are the chairs from the same range and are the ones we recommend for it. We publish the chair's overall height (115 cm) but our supplier doesn't split out its seat height, and we won't invent a figure — if you need the exact knee clearance, call our showroom team on 07 3161 5415 and we'll measure a floor piece.

About 3.6 × 2.7 m as a minimum. The rule is 90 cm of clear space on every side so chairs can be pulled out and people can walk past — add 180 cm to each of the table's dimensions (180 × 90 cm) and that is your floor. Near a kitchen walkway, allow 105–120 cm of clearance instead, or roughly 3.9 × 3.0 m.

The table arrives flat-packed and needs an electric drill to build — a screwdriver on its own is not enough. The 6 chairs need no tools at all. If you would rather not do it, add set assembly to your order and our team will handle it in your home on delivery.

The table top, the table base and the chair frames are all solid acacia, a genuine hardwood, not MDF, particle board or veneer. The chair seats are cushioned in PU (polyurethane) faux leather over that timber frame — it is not animal leather and we don't describe it as such. Because acacia is a natural material, grain and tone vary slightly piece to piece.

Yes. The Jayden Dining Table and the Jayden Dining Chair are both sold separately, so you can add extra chairs for the ends later or replace a single piece. Buying them together as this set means they come from the same finish run.

Full details

Jayden 7 Piece Dining Set with 1.8 m Table — full product details

The Jayden 7 Piece Dining Set with 1.8 m Table is a solid acacia dining table set made up of one 180 × 90 × 78 cm dining table and 6 matching dining chairs. Both pieces are built on solid acacia hardwood — a genuine timber rather than MDF or veneer. The chairs carry a slatted timber backrest and square chunky legs braced by stretcher rails, with a cushioned seat in dark brown PU (polyurethane) faux leather, which is not animal leather. Corner legs rather than a centre pedestal mean chairs pull straight out along both long sides, and at 90 cm wide there is a genuine runway down the middle for serving dishes, boards and candles.

Three settings down each side at the standard 60 cm per person — six, without needing the ends. Allow at least 90 cm of clear floor on every side so chairs can be pulled out and people can walk behind them, which puts the minimum room size at roughly 3.6 × 2.7 m, or about 3.9 × 3.0 m near a kitchen walkway. Each chair measures 50 cm wide, 45 cm deep and 115 cm to the top of the back. The table's 78 cm height sits a little above the common 71–76 cm range; our supplier's sheet does not give the chairs' seat height, so we do not publish an exact knee clearance for this set — call 07 3161 5415 and we will measure a floor piece.

The table requires assembly with an electric drill; the chairs require none. In-home set assembly can be added to your order at one flat rate. Every piece carries a 1 year warranty. Carton dimensions and product weights are not listed on our supplier sheet. Images are for illustration only; the actual product might be slightly different — we highly recommend you visit the store before the purchase. The table and chairs are also sold individually as the Jayden Dining Table and Jayden Dining Chair. See it in person at any of our five A2Z Furniture showrooms: Rocklea, Virginia, Bundall (Gold Coast), North Ipswich and Beenleigh.
