It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the pathway for delivering the goods is clear and unobstructed. Additional charges may apply if extra work is required to clear access.
To assess whether the assembly can be carried out safely and efficiently, The A2Z Furniture may request further information about the property, including photos or video of the layout.
If the product cannot be delivered to the intended room due to insufficient space, the delivery and assembly charges are non-refundable.
The A2Z Furniture reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to decline or cancel the assembly service. Where this occurs, any assembly fee already paid will be refunded in full.

The Cleveland is a contemporary warm-walnut bed with a feature-packed storage headboard and a distinctive herringbone parquet pattern across the decorative panels. The headboard combines two open cubbies for display with two hinged storage compartments below for hidden capacity, plus a built-in USB power point for bedside charging. Two more pull-out drawers sit in the footboard for further hidden storage. Available in Queen and King.

Slat base, no box spring
The wooden slat base with centre support bar holds the mattress directly — no box spring or extra foundation needed. Works with foam, hybrid and spring mattresses.

Slat base included — suited to spring mattresses, and supports most foam and hybrid mattresses too. If you're matching a specific foam or hybrid mattress, check the slat spacing with our team before ordering, since some foam-mattress warranties require gaps under ~7.5 cm.

Total height = slat height (30 cm) + your mattress depth. Ships flat-packed in 3 boxes; measure your access route and check the boxes fit your vehicle for pickup. A screwdriver is needed (electric drill recommended); two people recommended — the headboard has a USB wiring connection to complete during assembly, refer to the manual. ↔️Drawer at the foot
Keep clear floor at the foot of the bed for the drawer; the castors need a clear path, so lift any rugs out of the way.
📦Ships flat-packed
Cartons clear a standard ~80 cm doorway even when the assembled piece is large. Still worth measuring for the bigger sizes.
🧭Room clearance
Allow 60–75 cm around the piece to move comfortably; remember the frame footprint runs a few cm larger than the mattress.
🚙Pickup vehicle
For free Rocklea pickup, a flat-pack fits most cars, but an assembled or oversized item needs a van, ute or trailer.

Care instructions
Dust the herringbone panels carefully
Use a soft cloth or soft brush across the parquet pattern. The grooves between strips collect more dust than flat surfaces.
Damp, never wet on the veneer
Dry spills immediately. Standing water can damage the veneered surfaces and lift the parquet pattern over time.
Operate hinges and drawers smoothly
Open and close the headboard hinged compartments gently to protect the hinge mechanism. Don't overload the footboard drawers.
Keep away from direct sunlight
Prolonged direct sun can fade the warm walnut tone over time — position away from unfiltered window light where possible.

Two hinged compartments are built into the lower section of the headboard, each fronted by a herringbone parquet panel that tilts open to reveal interior storage. Good for chargers, notebooks, headphones and eye masks. The two open cubbies at the top are for display items — books, candles or framed photos.
The Cleveland has a built-in USB power point in the headboard for charging phones, tablets or other USB devices directly from the bed. Specific outlet type, position and amp output are covered in the instruction manual — review it before assembly to handle the USB wiring connection correctly on first build.
