The A2Z Furniture Pty Ltd and its staff accept no liability for any accidental damage to the customer’s property that may occur while bringing goods inside or during assembly.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the pathway for delivering the goods is clear and unobstructed. Additional charges may apply if extra work is required to clear access.
To assess whether the assembly can be carried out safely and efficiently, The A2Z Furniture may request further information about the property, including photos or video of the layout.
If the product cannot be delivered to the intended room due to insufficient space, the delivery and assembly charges are non-refundable.
The A2Z Furniture reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to decline or cancel the assembly service. Where this occurs, any assembly fee already paid will be refunded in full.

The Canberra 5 Piece Bedroom Suite is the full range in one order — the Canberra Gas Lift Bed Frame, two matching Canberra Bedside Tables, the five-drawer Canberra Tallboy and the seven-drawer Canberra Dresser with Mirror, all built from solid eucalyptus in the same pale natural finish. The bed's mattress platform lifts on hydraulic gas struts to a storage cavity the full footprint of the frame, while the headboard carries an LED-lit open display shelf with a USB charging port set flush into it and two push-open compartments below. Between the tallboy, the dresser and the two bedsides there are sixteen drawers, plus a matching framed mirror — a complete bedroom that needs nothing added. Available in Queen and King.

These figures were measured in-house from Canberra pieces in our showroom on 14 August 2026, not copied from a supplier sheet. Frame footprint is the floor space the assembled bed occupies; the mattress sits on the slat platform, so allow for mattress thickness above the slat height. Check the longest carton against your access route — stairwells, lift doors and tight corners are where flat-packed beds get stuck. Internal drawer measurements and runner type for the bedside tables are available on request. If a measurement is critical, call our showroom team on 07 3161 5415 before you order. Measurements are taken by hand and can vary slightly between shipments.

The gas-lift platform takes a standard Australian mattress of the matching size directly on its wooden slats — no box spring or ensemble base needed. Queen fits a 153 × 203 cm mattress, King fits 183 × 203 cm.

Anchor the tallboy and the dresser — it matters
This suite contains two pieces of clothing-storage furniture that must each be secured to the wall before use: the Canberra Tallboy and the Canberra Dresser with Mirror. Each carries its own mandated safety warning below — they are shown separately because the warnings apply to two different pieces.

Fit the mirror to the dresser, and anchor the unit to the wall, before use — the fitted mirror raises the unit's height and centre of gravity. Wall-anchoring hardware is inexpensive and takes only minutes to fit; our showroom team can point you to a suitable anchor kit. Call 07 3161 5415.
The bedside tables are lower and less top-heavy, but as with any freestanding bedroom furniture we recommend anti-tip anchoring for them too, particularly in homes with young children.
The bed's LED strip and USB port are mains powered — the frame plugs into a standard wall outlet. Route the power lead clear of walkways and the gas-lift hinge, and allow for a power point within reach of the bedhead when planning the room. Guide the platform up and down rather than letting it drop, and keep the storage cavity loaded below the slat line so nothing fouls the mechanism.

Yes — both of them. The Canberra Tallboy and the Canberra Dresser are clothing-storage furniture and must each be secured to the wall with an anchor device before use. On the dresser, fit the mirror first, then anchor, because the mirror raises the unit's height and centre of gravity. Never allow children to climb on the drawers, never open more than one drawer at a time, place heavy items down low, and never put a television on either piece.
