Entertainment units with storage
Modern living means more devices, more remotes and — let's be honest — more cords. An entertainment unit with storage is the easiest way to deal with it without adding another piece of furniture. Cabinet doors hide cables, controllers and the everyday clutter that builds up around a media setup; drawers handle the smaller bits; and open shelving gives consoles, soundbars and streaming boxes a ventilated home with clear line-of-sight for IR remotes. Almost every unit in our range includes some combination of doors, drawers and open shelves, across woodgrain, timber and glass finishes.
For larger media setups and big screens, our 200 cm entertainment units give you a full two metres of surface and storage. If you're working with a standard living room, the 180 cm size is the most popular fit.
How to choose the right TV unit
Three decisions get you to the right unit: getting the size right for your TV and your room, the material that matches your space, and the storage layout that suits how you live.
1. Size — match it to your TV and your wall
As a guide, choose a TV unit that's at least as wide as your television, and ideally 15–20 cm wider on each side so the screen looks balanced rather than perched on the edges. Measure the wall too, and leave breathing room either side. Our units run from compact 150 cm consoles for apartments and bedrooms, through the popular 180 cm standard, up to long 200 cm / 2 m designs for big screens and open-plan rooms. Every product page lists exact dimensions, so you can check the fit before you order.
2. Material — set the mood
Timber and woodgrain units bring warmth and hide everyday marks well — we stock both genuine solid acacia and oak on selected designs, and smooth engineered woodgrain on our more budget-friendly pieces. Tempered-glass tops keep a room feeling light and lean modern, often paired with gold or chrome legs for a glam look. Marble-look finishes add a premium, high-contrast feel that anchors a neutral room — these use a hard-wearing engineered marble-look surface rather than natural stone. There's no wrong answer; it comes down to the look you want and how much upkeep suits your household.
3. Storage — doors, drawers or open shelves
Cabinet doors keep clutter completely out of sight and suit busy family rooms; drawers are handy for remotes, chargers and small accessories; and open shelving keeps devices ventilated and remotes within line-of-sight. Most of our units combine two or three of these, so think about what you actually need to store — and whether you'd rather hide it or display it — before you choose.
TV units to match your style
Whatever the rest of your living room looks like, there's a unit in the range to match it:
- Scandi & minimalist — two-tone woodgrain consoles with tapered or hairpin legs, our most budget-friendly designs.
- Contemporary — clean-lined units in white, black, grey oak and Wotan oak that sit comfortably in most modern rooms.
- Glam — high-gloss black and white units with tempered glass tops and sculptural gold, brass or chrome legs.
- Hamptons & coastal — white bodies with natural timber tops for a relaxed, classic-coastal feel.
- Rustic & farmhouse — solid acacia and oak units in warmer, darker tones with a more characterful, grounded look.
Keeping your TV unit looking its best
The right care depends on the material, but a few habits keep any TV unit looking new for longer:
- Woodgrain & MDF — dust regularly with a dry microfibre cloth; for marks use a barely-damp cloth and dry immediately, as standing water can damage the panel over time.
- Solid timber — dust and wipe spills promptly; use coasters and felt pads under heavier devices, and keep out of prolonged direct sun to avoid uneven fading.
- Tempered glass — wipe with glass cleaner or a damp microfibre cloth, then buff dry to remove streaks and fingerprints. Toughened glass is heat- and scratch-resistant, but mats still help.
- Marble-look surfaces — wipe with a soft damp cloth and mild soap; avoid acidic or abrasive cleaners that can dull the finish.

TV units — frequently asked questions
-
What size TV unit do I need?
As a guide, choose a unit at least as wide as your TV — ideally 15–20 cm wider on each side so the screen looks balanced. Our range runs from compact 150 cm consoles up to long 200 cm / 2 m units; 180 cm is the most popular standard size. Browse our 180 cm and 200 cm ranges, and check exact dimensions on each product page before ordering.
-
What materials are your TV units made from?
Our TV units come in engineered woodgrain, genuine solid acacia and oak on selected designs, toughened tempered glass, and marble-look finishes. Each has its strengths — timber adds warmth and hides marks, glass keeps a room light, and marble-look tops bring a premium feel (these use an engineered marble-look surface, not natural stone). Browse by timber or glass to compare.
-
Do your TV units have storage?
Yes — almost every unit includes built-in storage, from cabinet doors that hide cables and clutter to drawers for remotes and accessories and open shelving for consoles and soundbars. Most designs combine two or three of these, so you can choose how much to hide and how much to display.
-
Do you sell matching TV unit and coffee table sets?
Yes. Many of our TV units have a matching coffee table, and you can buy them together as a coordinated set. See the full range in our TV unit & coffee table sets collection.
-
Can I see the TV units in person before buying?
Yes — we have five showrooms across South-East Queensland: Rocklea, Virginia, Beenleigh, Bundall and North Ipswich. You can check the size, finish and storage up close before deciding, or order online with fast local delivery across Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Find addresses and opening hours.
-
Do you offer finance or buy now, pay later?
Yes. We offer Afterpay, Zip, Humm and Latitude Interest Free, plus a Layby option on selected products, so you can spread the cost of your TV unit. Delivery is available across Brisbane, the Gold Coast and wider South-East Queensland, with free pickup from our Rocklea warehouse.
