About the Materials

The Deception TV Unit is built from MDF (medium-density fibreboard), with a black wood-grain finish on the body and a smooth white marble-look top. MDF gives the body a stable, even structure that holds its shape over time without warping like solid timber can. The wood-grain finish on the black body adds texture and warmth to what would otherwise be a flat black surface — a small detail that makes a difference up close. The marble-look top adds a designer touch without the price (or upkeep) of real stone.

Care Instructions

Wipe the Marble-Look Top

Wipe the top with a soft, damp cloth as needed. Clean up spills quickly so they don't sit on the surface, and skip harsh chemical sprays and abrasive scourers, which can dull the finish over time.

Dust the Black Body

Wipe the black wood-grain body weekly with a soft, dry microfibre cloth to keep dust from settling into the texture. Wipe in the direction of the grain for the best result.

Use Coasters & Felt Pads

Use coasters under cups and felt pads under heavier items on the marble-look top. This keeps the surface looking fresh and avoids scratches from grit beneath things being moved across the top.

Wipe Spills Promptly

Clean up spills with a slightly damp cloth, then dry the surface thoroughly. MDF surfaces can swell or stain if moisture is left to soak in, so prompt drying is important — especially around the drawer fronts and edges.

Pick Up.

You can order online and pick up for free from our Rocklea Distribution Warehouse at 48 Randolph St, Rocklea QLD 4106, but only by appointment. Call 07 3161 5415 to arrange pickup, and bring your order confirmation email and photo ID to the store.

If you paid by credit card, the cardholder must be there with photo ID to verify details.

Note that when using POLI Internet Banking, goods can be picked up or delivered only after funds are received in our Bank Account. We'll email you about this.

If someone else is picking up for you, contact us beforehand, or you won't get your goods.

You must provide your own transportation materials (strapping, rope, protective coverings) for Pick Up purchases. We don't provide them.

We keep things straightforward so there are no surprises on the day. Here's exactly what to expect when your order qualifies for free local delivery:

Your eligible items are dispatched from our Rocklea warehouse, typically within 3 to 7 working days, depending on stock availability. Delivery is to ground level or front garage only — the driver will not bring goods inside, take them upstairs or unpack them. If you'd like assembly or in-home placement, you can add this at checkout under our Assembly Terms.

Enter your address at checkout If your delivery address falls within the eligible zone and the product qualifies, free delivery will be applied automatically.

We dispatch & deliver Our driver will call before arrival from a private number. Have someone available at the address to receive the goods on the agreed day.

Free Local Delivery Terms & Conditions

The following Terms and Conditions apply. Free local delivery is available on selected items only. If a product qualifies, the offer will be automatically applied during the checkout process. For any detailed information, please get in touch with our team.

  • Available for outright payments only (No Payment Plan, Layby).
  • Only available for addresses that are less than 10 km from our Rocklea Warehouse. The distance is determined using Google Maps.
  • Delivery is strict till the garage / ground floor. The driver will not take it inside, upstairs or unpack the goods.
  • The standard delivery time frame is within 3 to 7 working days, and there might be delays depending on stock availability.
  • The delivery driver may call you from a private number before delivery; if the customer does not answer the phone, the driver will not attempt delivery unless instructed to leave goods at the property.
  • The A2Z Furniture has complete discretion to change any policy aspect without prior notice.
