It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the pathway for delivering the goods is clear and unobstructed. Additional charges may apply if extra work is required to clear access.
To assess whether the assembly can be carried out safely and efficiently, The A2Z Furniture may request further information about the property, including photos or video of the layout.
If the product cannot be delivered to the intended room due to insufficient space, the delivery and assembly charges are non-refundable.
The A2Z Furniture reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to decline or cancel the assembly service. Where this occurs, any assembly fee already paid will be refunded in full.

A soft pink velvet bed with a buttoned, curved headboard
The Sparkle is built around its headboard — a gently curved silhouette finished with cut-diamond-look buttons and double piping around the edge, upholstered in a soft pink velvet polyester. Underneath it's a straightforward platform bed: a slat base that takes your mattress directly, low upholstered rails and four oak-colour rubberwood legs. It comes in Single, King Single and Double, which makes it a natural fit for a child's room, a teenager's room or a guest bedroom that needs a bit of character.
Statement buttoned headboard
The curved headboard is finished with cut-diamond-look buttons and double piping running around the edge — the detail that gives the Sparkle its name and its softer, more decorative look.
Soft pink velvet upholstery
Fully upholstered in a 100% polyester velvet fabric in a soft blush pink, over an MDF and particle-board frame.
Oak-colour rubberwood legs
Four tapered rubberwood legs in an oak colour lift the frame off the floor, giving the bed a lighter stance and leaving clearance underneath for storage boxes.
Slat base — and a centre beam on the Double
Every size sits on a slat base that takes a standard mattress directly, with no box spring needed. The Double adds a central support beam underneath the slats for extra support across the wider span.

Cartons clear a standard ~80 cm doorway even when the assembled piece is large. Still worth measuring for the bigger sizes.
🧭Room clearance
Allow 60–75 cm around the piece to move comfortably; remember the frame footprint runs a few cm larger than the mattress.

Total height = base + your mattress, so a tall base plus a deep mattress can sit high — worth checking for getting in and out.

For free Rocklea pickup, a flat-pack fits most cars, but an assembled or oversized item needs a van, ute or trailer.

Care instructions
Vacuum the velvet regularly
Run a soft-brush vacuum attachment over the headboard and rails weekly. Velvet holds dust in the pile, and lifting it early stops the nap looking flat and dull.
Blot spills straight away
Blot with a clean dry cloth, working from the outside of the mark inwards. Don't rub — rubbing crushes the velvet pile and leaves a permanent shiny patch.
Keep out of direct sun
Sustained UV will fade a pale pink faster than a dark fabric. Position the bed away from direct afternoon sunlight where you can.
Tighten bolts quarterly
Like all flat-packed beds, the bolts can work slightly loose over months of use. A quick quarterly check and tighten keeps the frame feeling solid.

Three — Single, King Single and Double. The pink velvet finish and buttoned headboard are identical across all three; only the frame width and length change. There is no Queen or King in this range.
No — the Sparkle is sold as the frame only. Browse our mattress range to pair with it, or speak with our team in any of our five SE QLD showrooms.
The Double is rated to 300 kg including the mattress; the King Single and Single are rated to 250 kg. The Double also has a central support beam under the slats to carry the wider span.
No — it's a platform bed with no built-in storage. The timber legs do leave clearance underneath for storage boxes. If you'd prefer built-in drawers, look at one of our storage bed frames instead.
The slat base suits foam, hybrid and most spring mattresses, and needs no box spring. The supplier doesn't publish an exact slat spacing for the Sparkle — if your mattress warranty specifies a maximum gap, contact our team and we'll measure a floor model before you buy.
Not especially — vacuum it with a soft brush head weekly and blot spills rather than rubbing them. Because it's a pale pink, keeping it out of direct afternoon sun is the main thing that protects the colour long term. A fabric protector spray applied when new makes spills much easier to lift.
