Overview

A matched dining room in one purchase

The Jericho Hamptons Style 7 Piece Dining Set with 1.9 m Table pairs the 190 cm Jericho Dining Table with 6 matching Jericho Dining Chairs in the Hamptons manner: solid acacia hardwood throughout, the chairs finished in a soft off-white paint with dark beige fabric seat cushions, and the table left in its natural timber. It is the classic coastal-classic pairing — painted frames against a natural top — and buying it as a set is how you know the off-whites actually match, which is the one thing that is hard to fix afterwards.

Solid Acacia Throughout

The table top and base and the chair frames are all solid acacia — a genuine hardwood, not MDF or veneer. Acacia takes a painted finish without losing its structure, which is what lets the chairs carry the off-white while the table shows its natural grain.

Padded Fabric Seats

Each chair has a padded cushion in a beige fabric — a softer, warmer seat than a hard timber one, and a practical mid-tone that does not show every mark the way a pale upholstery would.

190 cm of Table

Three settings down each side at the standard 60 cm per person — six, without needing the ends. At 90 cm wide there is room down the centre for a runner, a bowl or candles without crowding the plates.

One Delivery, One Build

Everything arrives together instead of two orders weeks apart. The chairs need no tools at all; the table takes an electric drill, or add set assembly above and we will handle it in the room.

Does it fit?

What "7 piece" really seats, and the room it needs

A dining set is the piece people most often buy too big for the room — and the one where the number on the box and the number of people who actually fit can quietly disagree. Here are the real numbers for this set, taken from the table's and the chairs' own measurements.

Dining sizing guide: allow 60 cm of table edge per person, leave at least 90 cm of clear floor on every side, pair a 71 to 78 cm high table with chairs of 45 to 48 cm seat height for 25 to 30 cm of knee room, and a table-length-to-seats ready reckoner from 120 cm seating four up to 270 cm seating ten.
6Three settings down each side at the standard 60 cm per person — six, without needing the ends.
3.7 × 2.7 mMinimum room size, allowing the 90 cm of clearance you need to pull chairs out.
80 cmTable height — a touch above the usual 71–76 cm, so check your chair seats if you mix in others.
  • "7 piece" means one table and 6 chairs. Three settings down each side at the standard 60 cm per person — six, without needing the ends. We would rather set that out now than have you count places after it arrives.
  • Leave 90 cm clear on every side. That is the Australian standard for pulling a chair out and walking behind it. Add 180 cm to each of the table's dimensions and you get the minimum room: about 3.7 × 2.7 m. If the set sits near a kitchen walkway, aim for 105–120 cm of clearance instead — roughly 4.0 × 3.0 m.
  • This table is taller than most — which is exactly why the chairs matter. The Jericho table stands 80 cm, above the usual 71–76 cm Australian norm, so a chair chosen at random is a real risk here. These are the chairs made for it. Our supplier gives one overall height (105 cm) rather than a separate seat height, so we will not publish an exact knee clearance — the table's own page recommends a 45–48 cm seat for it. If you need the measured figure, call 07 3161 5415 and we will measure a floor piece.
  • The chairs tuck, the backs stand clear. Each chair is 46 cm wide and 46 cm deep, so they sit along the table at the standard 60 cm-per-person spacing. The seats slide under the top; the 105 cm backs stand above it, so measure your walkway to the chair backs rather than to the table edge.
  • Measure the doorway, not just the room. The table ships flat-packed, so getting it in is easy — but once built it is 190 cm long and will not turn a tight corner. Build it in the room it is staying in.

Not sure it fits? Mark out 190 × 90 cm on your floor with masking tape, then add 90 cm all round and see what is left. Or call our showroom team on 07 3161 5415 — we will talk it through against your room measurements, and you can see the range set up at our Rocklea showroom.

Materials & care

Solid acacia, off-white paint, beige fabric

Table
Solid acacia wood (top and base), off-white painted base — a genuine hardwood, not MDF or veneer
Chair frame
Solid acacia wood in an off-white painted finish, with a double crossed-lattice back and square tapered legs
Chair seat
Padded beige fabric upholstered cushion — not animal leather
Warranty
1 year on every piece

Acacia is a natural material — each piece shows slight differences in grain and tone, which is part of its character rather than a defect. The chair frames carry a painted off-white finish over that timber, and buying the set together means the painted whites come from the same run. The same acacia and off-white run across the whole Jericho range, so pieces bought later still match.

Caring for your set

🍽️

Use placemats & coasters

Hot plates, hot pans and wet glasses are what mark a timber dining top. Placemats, coasters and a trivet under anything straight off the stove will do more for this table than any polish.

🧹

Wipe the timber

A soft, dry or barely damp microfibre cloth after meals is enough. Don't let spills sit — wipe them up rather than leaving liquid to soak into the grain.

🧼

Vacuum the fabric seats

The beige cushions are best kept with a regular vacuum on the upholstery head. Blot spills straight away with a clean dry cloth — press, don't rub, and work from the outside in so you don't spread the mark.

🧽

Clean the painted frames

A slightly damp cloth handles the off-white chair frames; for scuffs, a little mild soap on a damp cloth. Skip abrasive scourers and harsh chemicals, which cut through paint.

☀️

Keep out of direct sun

Strong direct sunlight fades timber finishes, yellows white paint and lightens fabric over time. Place the set away from harsh sun, or close curtains during the brightest hours.

🔧

Check the chair fittings

Chair joints loosen with everyday use — every few months, give the legs a gentle check and hand-tighten anything that has worked loose. It is the single best thing you can do for a dining chair's lifespan.

What's in the box

One thing to build

The table arrives flat-packed, with the top and the legs and fittings packed alongside. It needs an electric drill; a screwdriver alone won't do it. The 6 chairs need no tools at all — unpack them and they are ready to sit at the table. If you would rather not do the table yourself, add set assembly to your order above and our team will handle it in your home on delivery.

Delivery & pickup

Two ways to get it home

Delivery cost is calculated by item and distance — enter your details in the estimator above, or at checkout. Delivery is to ground level / front garage only. The set travels as multiple cartons on one delivery, all of them flat or boxed, so doorways and stairs are rarely a problem. Add set assembly above if you'd like it handled in the room on delivery.

Collect free from our Rocklea distribution warehouse by appointment. Plan for a long flat table carton plus a box per chair — that needs a van, a large trailer or two trips in a ute. Our supplier doesn't list the carton sizes, so call 07 3161 5415 before you come and we'll measure them for you. Bring your order confirmation and photo ID. For full terms, see our Pickup & Delivery Terms.

Change-of-mind returns are accepted under our Return Policy; full conditions apply.

FAQ

Common questions

7 pieces: one Jericho Dining Table and 6 Jericho Dining Chairs. Nothing else shown in the photographs is included — the styling props are there to give a sense of scale.

Six comfortably, and six chairs are supplied. At 190 cm you get three settings down each side at the Australian standard of 60 cm of table edge per person, so nobody has to sit at an end unless you want them to.

The table top sits at 80 cm, a little above the usual 71–76 cm. These are the chairs from the same range and are the ones we recommend for it. We publish the chair's overall height (105 cm) but our supplier doesn't split out its seat height, and we won't invent a figure — if you need the exact knee clearance, call our showroom team on 07 3161 5415 and we'll measure a floor piece.

About 3.7 × 2.7 m as a minimum. The rule is 90 cm of clear space on every side so chairs can be pulled out and people can walk past — add 180 cm to each of the table's dimensions (190 × 90 cm) and that is your floor. Near a kitchen walkway, allow 105–120 cm of clearance instead, or roughly 4.0 × 3.0 m.

The table arrives flat-packed and needs an electric drill to build — a screwdriver on its own is not enough. The 6 chairs need no tools at all. If you would rather not do it, add set assembly to your order and our team will handle it in your home on delivery.

Yes — the table top, the table base and the chair frames are all solid acacia, a genuine hardwood, not MDF, particle board or veneer. The chair frames and the table base carry a painted off-white finish over that timber, and the chair seats are padded beige fabric. Because acacia is a natural material, grain and tone vary slightly piece to piece.

Yes. The Jericho Dining Table and the Jericho Dining Chair are both sold separately, so you can add extra chairs for the ends later or replace a single piece. Buying them together as this set means they come from the same finish run.

Full details

Jericho Hamptons Style 7 Piece Dining Set with 1.9 m Table — full product details

The Jericho Hamptons Style 7 Piece Dining Set with 1.9 m Table is a Hamptons-style dining table set made up of one 190 × 90 × 80 cm solid acacia dining table and 6 matching solid acacia dining chairs. The chairs are finished in a soft off-white paint with padded dark beige fabric seat cushions, set against the table's natural timber top — the painted-frame-against-natural-top pairing that defines the Hamptons look. Corner legs rather than a centre pedestal mean chairs pull straight out along both long sides.

Three settings down each side at the standard 60 cm per person — six, without needing the ends. Allow at least 90 cm of clear floor on every side so chairs can be pulled out and people can walk behind them, which puts the minimum room size at roughly 3.7 × 2.7 m, or about 4.0 × 3.0 m near a kitchen walkway. Each chair measures 46 cm wide, 46 cm deep and 105 cm to the top of the back. The table stands 80 cm — taller than the common 71–76 cm range, which is precisely why the matching chairs matter; our supplier does not split out their seat height, so we do not publish an exact knee clearance. Call 07 3161 5415 and we will measure a floor piece.

The table requires assembly with an electric drill; the chairs require no external tools. In-home set assembly can be added to your order at one flat rate. Every piece carries a 1 year warranty. Carton dimensions and product weights are not listed on our supplier sheet. Images are for illustration only; the actual product might be slightly different — we highly recommend you visit the store before the purchase. The table and chairs are also sold individually as the Jericho Dining Table and Jericho Dining Chair.
