It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the pathway for delivering the goods is clear and unobstructed. Additional charges may apply if extra work is required to clear access.
To assess whether the assembly can be carried out safely and efficiently, The A2Z Furniture may request further information about the property, including photos or video of the layout.
If the product cannot be delivered to the intended room due to insufficient space, the delivery and assembly charges are non-refundable.
The A2Z Furniture reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to decline or cancel the assembly service. Where this occurs, any assembly fee already paid will be refunded in full.

The Fabulous is a fully upholstered storage bed frame with a built-in pull-out drawer at the foot — extra storage where you need it, without a separate base. It comes in five Australian sizes and five finishes: four soft-touch fabrics and a wipe-clean black PU leather. A straight wooden slat base on a centre support bar takes a standard mattress directly, so there's no box spring to buy.
Upholstered headboard included
A padded, upholstered headboard comes as standard — no separate bedhead to buy. Soft-touch fabric or PU leather wraps the frame for a finished look from every angle.
Pull-out drawer at the foot
One roomy drawer glides out on castor wheels at the foot of the bed — ideal for spare linen, blankets or out-of-season clothes, tucked away but easy to reach.
Slat base — mattress goes straight on
Straight wooden slats sit on a wooden middle support bar with support legs underneath. It takes a standard mattress directly and gives the frame its solid feel — no box spring needed.
Five finishes, two materials
Choose soft-touch fabric in Dark Grey, Ocean Blue, Black Grey or a lighter Grey — or a wipe-clean black PU leather for a sleeker, more hard-wearing surface.

Slat base, no box spring
The wooden slat base with centre support bar holds the mattress directly — no box spring or extra foundation needed. Works with foam, hybrid and spring mattresses.

Slat base included — suited to spring mattresses, and supports most foam and hybrid mattresses too. If you're matching a specific foam or hybrid mattress, check the slat spacing with our team before ordering, since some foam-mattress warranties require gaps under ~7.5 cm.

The foot drawer measures about 97 × 36 cm on Queen and King; it is a little smaller on the other sizes — ask our team for the exact figure if you need it. A screwdriver is needed (electric drill recommended); two people recommended. Keep clear floor at the foot of the bed for the drawer; the castors need a clear path, so lift any rugs out of the way.
🛞Castors & floors
Wheels run best on hard floors; felt pads protect timber. Keep rugs clear of the wheel path so the drawer glides.
📦Ships flat-packed
Cartons clear a standard ~80 cm doorway even when the assembled piece is large. Still worth measuring for the bigger sizes.
🚙Pickup vehicle
For free Rocklea pickup, a flat-pack fits most cars, but an assembled or oversized item needs a van, ute or trailer.

Care instructions
Dust the headboard & rails
On fabric, run a soft-brush vacuum over the headboard and side rails weekly. On PU leather, a dry microfibre cloth lifts dust before it settles.
Tackle spills early
Blot fabric spills with a clean dry cloth from the outside in. Wipe PU leather with a barely-damp cloth and dry it off — never leave it wet.
Keep out of strong sun
Direct west-facing afternoon sun fades fabric and can dry out PU leather over time. Position the bed where strong sun hits it for shorter stretches.
Tighten bolts quarterly
Like all flat-packed beds, the bolts can work slightly loose over months of use. A quick quarterly check and tighten keeps the frame and drawer feeling solid.

It’s so very good
Pretty good for a budget set up I guess. I shouldve checked measurements tho, im 188cm and slightly longer than the bed. Its ok for just me but probably couldnt fit 2 people in it. Bottom slidng draw doesnt quite line up either but I aint mad. It looks good for the price

I bought two queen size beds at a very affordable price for my spare rooms. I found the quality to be as good as ones in Amart and other furniture stores.They had the beds there ready for me to take home the same day. I will be going back again to buy a bed for my own room.
