Overview

A complete entryway set — console and mirror in one

The Douglas Console Table with Mirror is a coordinated entryway set, not two separate purchases. The console carries a white tempered glass top over a silver-chrome frame with the most elaborate cluster-leg detailing in the Douglas range — multiple parallel bars at each corner, floor to top. A glossy white MDF drawer with a chrome-bar pull keeps keys and mail out of sight, with an open lower shelf for display. Above it hangs the matching round wall mirror, flanked by silver cluster-bar accents that echo the legs.

Console + Wall Mirror Set

The set includes the console and a round wall mirror flanked by decorative silver cluster-bar accents — a finished entryway wall straight out of the box.

The Range's Boldest Cluster Legs

Multiple parallel silver-chrome bars rise at each corner from floor to top — the most pronounced leg detail in the seven-piece Douglas collection. Deliberately sculptural; it reads as a statement piece, not background furniture.

Drawer + Lower Shelf

A glossy white MDF drawer with chrome-bar pull for keys, wallets, post and small accessories, plus an open lower shelf for baskets or display pieces.

White Tempered Glass Top

A tempered glass top in white — the same surface language as the rest of the Douglas range, and a safety-glass standard rather than plain annealed glass.

Sizing guide

Will it fit your hallway?

Console tables live in walkways, so fit matters more than it does for most furniture — and with a mirror in the set, the wall matters too. Four quick checks, plus the mirror-hanging rules.

Console table sizing guide: keep at least 90 cm of clear walkway past the console, start the console beyond the front door's swing arc, span about two-thirds of the wall with 20 to 30 cm breathing room each side, and behind a sofa keep the top level with or slightly below the backrest.
  • Keep 90 cm of clear walkway. Measure your hall's width and subtract the console's 40 cm depth — you want at least 90 cm of clear passage left.
  • The front-door test. Open your front door fully and mark where the handle's swing arc ends — the console should start beyond that point.
  • Two-thirds of the wall. At 140 cm long, the console looks right on a wall of roughly 1.9 to 2.1 metres, with 20–30 cm of breathing room each end.
  • Hang the mirror at eye level. Centre the mirror at standing eye level — for most homes that puts its centre around 150–165 cm off the floor, comfortably clear of the 83 cm console top.

The Douglas's fit, honestly: at 40 cm deep it sits at the top of the console depth range — ideal in a hallway 130 cm or wider, an entry with room to move, or a wide landing. In a genuinely narrow hall, a slimmer console will serve you better — browse the full console range. Its 83 cm height is squarely in the 75–90 cm console band, and because the mirror is part of the set, the usual mirror-to-console proportion maths is already done for you.

Storage

One drawer, one open shelf

An entryway console earns its keep by swallowing the small chaos of coming and going. The Douglas gives you a glossy white drawer with a chrome-bar pull for keys, wallets, post and sunglasses — and an open lower shelf for a basket, a stack of books or display pieces that deserve to be seen through all that chrome.

Styling

Style your entryway in three moves

With the mirror already handling the wall, the console top only needs the rule of three: one tall piece (a slim lamp or a vase of stems), one low, wide piece (a tray — the landing spot for keys and wallets), and one personal touch (a candle, a framed photo, a sculptural object). Keep it sparse and reflective — glass, ceramic and metallic finishes suit the white-and-silver palette; heavy rustic pieces fight it.

Caring for your console & mirror

🤍

Wipe the glass top

A soft microfibre cloth and glass cleaner — white glass shows watermarks readily, so a regular quick wipe keeps it sharp.

Polish the cluster bars

Buff the silver-chrome bars with a soft dry cloth. For deeper cleaning, a barely-damp cloth followed by an immediate dry-off keeps the finish bright.

🪞

Care for the wall mirror

Glass cleaner and a microfibre cloth for the mirror face; the silver cluster-bar accents want the same dry-cloth buffing as the table frame.

🗝️

Mind the drawer handle

Open and close the drawer by its chrome-bar pull gently rather than yanking — steady operation protects the runners over years of use.

What's in the box

Console and mirror, ready to assemble

The set arrives flat-packed with an instruction manual. You'll need a screwdriver (an electric drill makes it quicker) and a rubber mallet for the console. The mirror wall-mounts — use fixings appropriate to your wall type, and if you're unsure, a handyman visit is a small job. Prefer not to build the console? Add our $100 assembly service in the buy box.

Delivery & pickup

Two ways to get it home

Delivery cost is calculated by item and distance — enter your details in the estimator above, or at checkout. Delivery is to ground level / front garage only. The set ships flat-packed, and the mirror panel deserves gentle handling on the way in.

Collect free from our Rocklea distribution warehouse by appointment. Flat-packed cartons plus a mirror — a van, ute or large SUV with soft padding for the mirror is the way to do it. Bring your order confirmation and photo ID. For full terms, see our Pickup & Delivery Terms.

Change-of-mind returns are accepted under our Return Policy; full conditions apply.

FAQ

Common questions

Yes — the price covers the set: the console table and the round wall mirror with its silver cluster-bar accents. If you'd like a second mirror for elsewhere in the house, the same mirror is also sold separately as the Douglas Wall Mirror.

Centre it at standing eye level — for most homes that's around 150–165 cm off the floor, which sits comfortably above the 83 cm console top. Use wall fixings appropriate to your wall type (plasterboard anchors, or screw into a stud where you can); if you're unsure, it's a small job for a handyman.

Yes — the console ships flat-packed with an instruction manual. You'll need a screwdriver (an electric drill makes it quicker) and a rubber mallet. Our $100 assembly service covers building the console on delivery; wall-mounting the mirror is not included.

At 40 cm deep, the Douglas sits at the top of the console depth range — ideal in a hallway 130 cm or wider or an entry with room to move. After subtracting its depth you want about 90 cm of clear passage left. In a genuinely narrow hall, a slimmer console will serve you better.

The top is tempered safety glass — the same standard used across the Douglas range. Tempered glass is several times stronger than ordinary glass and breaks into small granules rather than shards in the unlikely event of failure. It's still glass: use coasters, and don't stand on it.

Yes — the console-and-mirror set is one of seven pieces in the Douglas collection: coffee table, round coffee table, two nest sets, TV unit and dining table, all in the same white-top and silver-chrome language. See "Complete the look" above.

Full details

Douglas Console Table with Mirror — full product details

The Douglas Console Table with Mirror is a coordinated entryway set — a 140 × 40 × 83 cm console with a white tempered glass top, a silver-chrome metal frame carrying the range's most elaborate cluster-bar leg detailing, a glossy white MDF drawer with chrome-bar pull and an open lower shelf, paired with a round wall mirror (approx. 90 cm across, 118 cm wide including its silver cluster-bar accents). One purchase, a finished entryway wall.

As a hall table or entryway table, its 40 cm depth suits hallways 130 cm or wider, entries and wide landings — the mirror bounces light back into the space, which is exactly what a narrow hall wants. The light-glam white-and-silver palette pairs with glass, ceramic and metallic styling. It ships flat-packed with an instruction manual, needs a screwdriver and rubber mallet (electric drill recommended), or add our $100 assembly service and we'll build the console on delivery. Backed by a 12 month warranty.

Images are for illustration only; the actual product might be slightly different — we highly recommend you visit the store before the purchase. The set is one of seven pieces in the Douglas collection alongside the Douglas Coffee Table, Round Coffee Table, NT100 and NT200 Nest Sets, TV Unit and Dining Table — all sharing the white-top and silver-chrome language.
