The service covers assembly of the product only. Removal and disposal of packaging materials is not included.
The A2Z Furniture Pty Ltd and its staff accept no liability for any accidental damage to the customer’s property that may occur while bringing goods inside or during assembly.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the pathway for delivering the goods is clear and unobstructed. Additional charges may apply if extra work is required to clear access.
To assess whether the assembly can be carried out safely and efficiently, The A2Z Furniture may request further information about the property, including photos or video of the layout.
If the product cannot be delivered to the intended room due to insufficient space, the delivery and assembly charges are non-refundable.
The A2Z Furniture reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to decline or cancel the assembly service. Where this occurs, any assembly fee already paid will be refunded in full.

A Hamptons bed panelled at both ends
The tongue-and-groove panelling is what makes the Courtney instantly readable as Hamptons-coastal — and unlike most coastal beds that only detail the headboard, the Courtney carries the same vertical panelling and mid-brown timber top across the footboard too. A crisp white painted finish, slim tapered legs and 14mm LVL slats with central support legs round out a bed built for everyday stability, not just looks. Available in Double and Queen, and part of the 3-piece Courtney range.

The same vertical tongue-and-groove panelling runs across both the headboard and footboard, finished in the same crisp white with matching mid-brown timber tops — most coastal beds only detail the headboard.

Slat base, no box spring
The wooden slat base with centre support bar holds the mattress directly — no box spring or extra foundation needed. Works with foam, hybrid and spring mattresses.
Slat base & mattress support
Slat base included — suited to spring mattresses, and supports most foam and hybrid mattresses too. If you're matching a specific foam or hybrid mattress, check the slat spacing with our team before ordering, since some foam-mattress warranties require gaps under ~7.5 cm.

Total height = slat height (30 cm) + your mattress depth. The Courtney ships flat-packed; measure your access route and check the boxes fit your vehicle for pickup. A screwdriver is needed (electric drill recommended); two people recommended for handling the panelled headboard and footboard. Measurements are taken by hand and can vary slightly between shipments.

Cartons clear a standard ~80 cm doorway even when the assembled piece is large. Still worth measuring for the bigger sizes.
🧭Room clearance
Allow 60–75 cm around the piece to move comfortably; remember the frame footprint runs a few cm larger than the mattress.
📐Total height
Total height = base + your mattress, so a tall base plus a deep mattress can sit high — worth checking for getting in and out.
🚙Pickup vehicle
For free Rocklea pickup, a flat-pack fits most cars, but an assembled or oversized item needs a van, ute or trailer.

Care instructions
Dust the panel grooves regularly
Use a soft brush along the tongue-and-groove channels — the vertical grooves collect more dust than flat surfaces, especially at the corners.
Damp cloth only on the painted finish
Wipe with a damp (not wet) cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals on the white paint — gentle wipe-downs preserve the finish far longer.
Care for the mid-brown timber tops
The natural rubber wood tops at the head and foot show their grain — wipe gently, dry immediately after spills, and avoid prolonged sun exposure.
Tighten bolts quarterly
Like all flat-packed beds, the bolts can work slightly loose over months of use. A quick quarterly check and tighten keeps the frame feeling solid.

Double and Queen only. King Single, King and Single are not available. The Double + Queen offering makes the Courtney a strong fit for guest rooms, second bedrooms and smaller main suites. No mattress included.
