Safety
Anchor your tallboy — it matters
Like all tall clothing-storage furniture, the Clifton Tallboy must be secured to the wall before use. Wall-anchoring hardware is inexpensive, widely available from hardware stores, and takes only minutes to fit — and it removes the risk of the unit tipping if a child climbs or pulls on open drawers.
- ALWAYS secure this furniture to the wall with an anchor device.
- NEVER allow children to stand, climb or hang on drawers, doors or shelves.
- NEVER open more than one drawer at a time.
- Place heavy items down low.
- NEVER place a television on this furniture.

Caring for your timber
Dust regularly
Use a soft, dry cloth, and a soft brush to lift dust from the reeded grooves on the lower drawer and sides.
Avoid wet cloths
Skip soaking-wet cloths and harsh cleaners; a barely-damp cloth, dried off afterwards, is best.
Use coasters
Stand cups, glasses and lamps on coasters or mats to protect the top from rings and marks.
Open drawers evenly
With handle-free fronts, pull each drawer open evenly from the centre or with both hands so the runners stay aligned.
