The professional assembly service applies to ground-level rooms only. It is not available for apartments or for rooms located on an upper floor.
The service covers assembly of the product only. Removal and disposal of packaging materials is not included.
The A2Z Furniture Pty Ltd and its staff accept no liability for any accidental damage to the customer’s property that may occur while bringing goods inside or during assembly.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the pathway for delivering the goods is clear and unobstructed. Additional charges may apply if extra work is required to clear access.
To assess whether the assembly can be carried out safely and efficiently, The A2Z Furniture may request further information about the property, including photos or video of the layout.
If the product cannot be delivered to the intended room due to insufficient space, the delivery and assembly charges are non-refundable.
The A2Z Furniture reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to decline or cancel the assembly service. Where this occurs, any assembly fee already paid will be refunded in full.

The Aurora brings velvet-textured upholstery to smaller bedrooms and first homes — a tall vertical channel-tufted headboard with soft curved edges at the top corners, a clean low-profile upholstered base, and dark tapered legs. It's a plain platform bed with no storage drawers or bench — the emphasis is on a simple, uncluttered base that keeps the price accessible. Available in Grey or Oatmeal velvet-textured upholstery, in Double and Queen sizes.
Vertical channel-tufted headboard
Tall channel detail runs the full width of the headboard, adding visual height and depth without dominating the room.
Subtle curved wing edges
The top corners of the headboard flare gently outward — a softer interpretation of a wing-back profile, without the bulk of a full statement headboard.
Slat base, wooden middle bar
Straight wooden slats sit on a wooden middle support bar included where applicable for the size — it takes a standard mattress directly, no box spring needed.
Two velvet colourways
Warm Oatmeal for cosy, traditional bedroom schemes, or cool Grey for contemporary palettes — same construction, two distinct looks.

Slat base, no box spring
The wooden slat base with centre support bar holds the mattress directly — no box spring or extra foundation needed. Works with foam, hybrid and spring mattresses.
Slat base & mattress support
Slat base included — suited to spring mattresses, and supports most foam and hybrid mattresses too. If you're matching a specific foam or hybrid mattress, check the slat spacing with our team before ordering, since some foam-mattress warranties require gaps under ~7.5 cm.

Cartons clear a standard ~80 cm doorway even when the assembled piece is large. Still worth measuring for the bigger sizes.
🧭Room clearance
Allow 60–75 cm around the piece to move comfortably; remember the frame footprint runs a few cm larger than the mattress.
📐Total height
Total height = base + your mattress, so a tall base plus a deep mattress can sit high — worth checking for getting in and out.
🚙Pickup vehicle
For free Rocklea pickup, a flat-pack fits most cars, but an assembled or oversized item needs a van, ute or trailer.

Care instructions
Vacuum lightly each week
Use a soft-brush vacuum attachment on low suction across the channel detail and side rails. Velvet pile is more delicate than flat fabric — aggressive vacuuming flattens the pile over time.
Address spills right away
Blot fabric spills with a clean dry cloth, working from the outside in. Don't rub — rubbing on velvet smears the pile direction and can leave a permanent mark even after the stain clears.
Position away from direct sun
Sustained UV fades velvet visibly over time. Oatmeal shows fading more than Grey, but both colours benefit from being kept out of harsh afternoon sun.
Brush the pile in one direction
If the velvet looks uneven after vacuuming or sitting up against the headboard, run a soft brush across the pile in one consistent direction to restore the even finish.
