About the Materials

Real leather hide on every seating and back surface, sturdy frame underneath, splayed tapered legs, tonal stitching across the seat panels, back cushions, and armrests. Real leather is a natural material — it softens with use, gains character, and earns marks and depth over the years — but it's also susceptible to drying out under heat and bleaching in direct sun. The right care routine handles all of that (see below) and keeps the surface supple for the long haul.

Dust Regularly

Wipe the leather over with a soft, dry microfibre cloth every week or two — lifts surface dust before it works its way into the pores. Skip rough cloths, paper towels, and abrasive sponges; anything textured can mark the finish over time, particularly on the Bold Orange variant where wear shows more clearly.

Spot-Clean Spills Promptly

Catch spills fast. Blot, never rub, with a clean white microfibre cloth — rubbing pushes liquid into the leather pores. Avoid harsh solvents, bleach, and ammonia-based household cleaners. Use the Guardsman Leather Care Kit cleaner per its instructions for stubborn marks.

Avoid Sunlight & Heat

Position the Pearl away from prolonged direct sun and heat sources — radiators, vents, floor heaters. Sun bleaches leather, heat dries it out, and both lead to surface cracking. The Bold Orange variant in particular is more visibly sensitive to fade, so curtains during peak Brisbane sun hours go a long way.

Condition Every 6–12 Months

Every six to twelve months, work the Guardsman Leather Care Kit conditioner over the seating surfaces — feeds the leather and keeps it supple. Don't use the Guardsman ProGuard Care Kit — that's chemistry built for synthetic leathers and doesn't suit real hide.

You can order online and pick up for free from our Rocklea Distribution Warehouse at 48 Randolph St, Rocklea QLD 4106, but only by appointment. Call 07 3161 5415 to arrange pickup, and bring your order confirmation email and photo ID to the store.

If you paid by credit card, the cardholder must be there with photo ID to verify details.

Note that when using POLI Internet Banking, goods can be picked up or delivered only after funds are received in our Bank Account. We'll email you about this.

If someone else is picking up for you, contact us beforehand, or you won't get your goods.

Your eligible items are dispatched from our Rocklea warehouse, typically within 3 to 7 working days, depending on stock availability. Delivery is to ground level or front garage only — the driver will not bring goods inside, take them upstairs or unpack them.   • Available for outright payments only (No Payment Plan, Layby).
  • Only available for addresses that are less than 10 km from our Rocklea Warehouse. The distance is determined using Google Maps.
  • Delivery is strict till the garage / ground floor. The driver will not take it inside, upstairs or unpack the goods.
  • The standard delivery time frame is within 3 to 7 working days, and there might be delays depending on stock availability.
  • The delivery driver may call you from a private number before delivery; if the customer does not answer the phone, the driver will not attempt delivery unless instructed to leave goods at the property.
