If the product cannot be delivered to the intended room due to insufficient space, the delivery and assembly charges are non-refundable.
The A2Z Furniture reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to decline or cancel the assembly service. Where this occurs, any assembly fee already paid will be refunded in full.

The Mernda TV Unit is a 160 cm entertainment piece built from particle board in a dark, timber-look brown finish. Two closed compartments at each end are fronted in the range's signature channelled deep blue PU, flanking a central section with two open shelves for media gear. A genuine cable port at the back of the central section keeps power leads and cables tidy and out of sight. Slim, splayed black metal feet give the whole piece a mid-century-inspired stance that sits comfortably in a modern living room.

Sizing your television to a 160 cm unit
The usual guidance is to leave around 20 cm of unit wider than the television — roughly 10 cm each side — so the screen looks balanced and the feet or pedestal sit safely on the top rather than near the edge. On a 160 cm unit that puts the comfortable ceiling at about a 60″ screen.

This is a derived guideline, not a tested specification. A larger screen can still work if its feet or pedestal sit fully within the 160 × 40 cm top — measure the distance between your television’s feet before ordering, as this varies a lot between brands. The 30 kg top-load guideline is derived from the particle-board construction, not published by the manufacturer, so keep heavier televisions or soundbars spread across the surface rather than concentrated at one point, and a wall-mounted television removes the question entirely. Always secure your television with an anchor device.

Storage layout
Two closed compartments and two open shelves
The 160 cm width is split in three. At each end, a closed compartment fronted in the channelled deep blue PU hides bulkier gear such as a games console or router out of sight. In between, a central section with two open shelves keeps a soundbar, streaming box or frequently-used remotes within easy reach, with the cable port at the back keeping leads tidy.

Caring for a particle-board & PU finish
Dust the timber-look body
Wipe the dark brown body weekly with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. Skip wet cloths and harsh chemical sprays, which can dull the finish over time.
Wipe the PU fronts
Wipe the deep blue PU compartment fronts with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid abrasive scourers, which can scratch the PU surface.
Use coasters and mats
Stand drinks, plants and warm devices on a mat so the top is not marked by rings or heat.
Keep out of direct sun
Direct sunlight over time can fade both the timber-look finish and the deep blue PU fronts — position the unit away from windows that get strong direct sun where you can.
