The Mernda TV Unit is the most purpose-built piece in the Mernda range — two closed end compartments framed by the range's signature channelled blue PU fronts, flanking a central section with two open shelves built around media gear that needs to breathe and stay visible to remote controls. A cable port at the back of the central section keeps power and AV cables tidy. Dark brown timber-look construction across the body, slim splayed black metal feet for that lifted mid-century-inspired stance. Regular Dust-Down

Run a soft dry microfibre cloth across the top, frame, and shelves regularly. TV units tend to attract dust from the airflow around electronics — the open central shelving especially benefits from frequent attention so devices don't sit in a dust layer.

Lift Dust From the Channels

The vertical channels in the blue PU end panels can hold onto dust over time. A soft brush or vacuum brush attachment lifts it out without damaging the texture. For marks, a barely-damp cloth works — skip harsh cleaners and abrasive scourers.

Route Cables Through the Port

Use the cable cutout at the back of the central section as it was designed — feed cables through it rather than draping them over the back edge. Keeps the visible front clean, makes cleaning behind the unit easier, and prevents cables from getting pinched against the wall.

You can order online and pick up for free from our Rocklea Distribution Warehouse at 48 Randolph St, Rocklea QLD 4106, but only by appointment. Call 07 3161 5415 to arrange pickup, and bring your order confirmation email and photo ID to the store.

If you paid by credit card, the cardholder must be there with photo ID to verify details.

Note that when using POLI Internet Banking, goods can be picked up or delivered only after funds are received in our Bank Account. We'll email you about this.

If someone else is picking up for you, contact us beforehand, or you won't get your goods.

Your eligible items are dispatched from our Rocklea warehouse, typically within 3 to 7 working days, depending on stock availability. Delivery is to ground level or front garage only — the driver will not bring goods inside, take them upstairs or unpack them. If you'd like assembly or in-home placement, you can add this at checkout under our Assembly Terms.

Only available for addresses that are less than 10 km from our Rocklea Warehouse. The distance is determined using Google Maps.
Delivery is strict till the garage / ground floor. The driver will not take it inside, upstairs or unpack the goods.
The standard delivery time frame is within 3 to 7 working days, and there might be delays depending on stock availability.
The delivery driver may call you from a private number before delivery; if the customer does not answer the phone, the driver will not attempt delivery unless instructed to leave goods at the property.
