A black body carries a diamond-quilted blue PU drawer front with a slim gold pull, lifted off the floor by four gold hairpin legs — the same statement details that run across the Marlboro range. An open shelf above the drawer keeps a book, remote or phone within reach.

Will it work beside your sofa?
An end table follows a different rule from a coffee table. A coffee table is matched to your sofa's seat; an end table is matched to your sofa's arm — so you can set a drink down without reaching down or up.
- Match the arm, not the seat. The top should sit level with your sofa arm, or within about 5 cm either side. Most Australian sofa arms land between 55 and 65 cm.
- Allow depth for a lamp and a drink. Around 40 cm of depth is the practical minimum before a lamp base starts crowding everything else off the top.
- No walking gap needed. Unlike a coffee table, an end table is meant to sit flush against the arm — push it right up.
The Marlboro's fit: at 59 cm high it sits inside the 55–65 cm sofa-arm band, so on most lounges the top lands level with the armrest. Its 48 × 40 cm footprint is the narrowest in our end-table range — useful where a 60 cm table won't fit, and it still carries a lamp plus a mug. The open shelf adds a second surface without adding any floor space.

This is a particle-board piece with the surface finishes doing the visible work — we'd rather say that plainly than imply solid timber. The PU drawer panel is a polyurethane coating over a fabric base, not leather. It shares the same quilted PU fronts and gold hairpin legs as the matching Marlboro Coffee Table and Marlboro TV Unit.
Caring for your end table
Dust regularly
Wipe the top, sides, open shelf and gold legs weekly with a soft dry microfibre cloth to lift dust before it settles into the finish.
Clean the PU drawer front
Wipe the quilted panel with a soft, slightly damp cloth. PU can dry out or crack if cleaned with alcohol-based sprays or abrasive household cleaners — a conditioning kit keeps it supple.
Use coasters & mats
Coasters under cups and felt pads under lamps. Hot or wet items left directly on the surface can leave permanent marks.
Keep out of direct sun
Position away from prolonged direct sunlight so the black body, blue PU panel and gold legs don't fade or dry unevenly over time.
