Genuine Leather in Grey or Dark Grey

The Latrobe 3 Seater is wrapped in real leather hide — not bonded, not synthetic, not a leather-look fabric. The surface picks up subtle marks and softens over time, so what looks flat and uniform on day one gains lived-in character by year five. Two greys to choose from: Grey reads light and easy in brighter rooms, while Dark Grey takes the same chassis and gives it weight and richness for cosier spaces.

Twin Outer Recliners + Stationary Middle Seat

Manual recliners on the two outer seats, with the middle seat staying fixed in upright position. A finger-operated lever on the outside of each end armrest releases the back into recline as the footrest lifts; a push returns it. The middle seat doesn't recline by design — that fixed point gives the outer mechanisms a stable structural anchor and provides a properly upright spot for whoever doesn't feel like lounging. Three modes available simultaneously: full recline left, upright centre, full recline right.

Pillow-Top Armrests & Sculpted Backs

The end armrests are over-stuffed and rounded — bigger than they strictly need to be, which is exactly the point: wide enough to set a glass on, soft enough to lean against, padded enough to use as an impromptu cushion if you're sprawled across the lounge sideways. The back cushions are deep, with a built-up headrest section that pushes outward at the lumbar curve and pulls in at the shoulders. The seat shape supports your spine rather than working against it.

About the Materials

Real leather hide on every seating surface, sturdy frame underneath, twin manual recliner mechanisms tucked into the outer end armrests, and a fixed middle seat that anchors the whole structure. Real leather is animal hide that's been tanned and finished for upholstery — different chemistry from PU or air leather, and a different way of behaving over time. It absorbs spills if left, dries out under heat, and softens with use. None of that is a problem with the right care routine (see below).

Dust Regularly

Run a soft, dry microfibre cloth over the leather every week or two to lift surface dust and stop dirt working its way into the pores. Skip abrasive sponges, paper towels, and rough cloths — anything textured can scratch the finish over time.

Spot-Clean Spills Promptly

Catch spills fast — blot, don't rub, with a clean white microfibre cloth. Rubbing pushes liquid into the pores; blotting lifts it off the surface. Steer clear of harsh solvents, bleach, ammonia-based cleaners, and over-wetting. Use the Guardsman Leather Care Kit cleaner per instructions for stubborn marks.

Avoid Sunlight & Heat

Keep the lounge clear of direct sunlight and heat sources — radiators, floor heaters, vents. Both dry leather out and lead to cracking down the line. Pull curtains during peak Brisbane sun hours, particularly important for the Grey variant where fade is more visible.

Condition Every 6–12 Months

Every six to twelve months, work the Guardsman Leather Care Kit conditioner across the seating surfaces. Real leather needs occasional feeding to stay supple and resist drying. Don't use the Guardsman ProGuard Care Kit — that's chemistry built for synthetic leathers and doesn't suit real hide.

The Latrobe 3 Seater Leather Recliner Lounge is the largest piece in the Latrobe range, built for family living rooms where three people often want three different things from the same lounge. Twin manual recliners on the outer end seats let two people kick back simultaneously while a third stays upright in the middle — child, guest, or just whoever doesn't feel like lounging at that moment. The recliner action is purely mechanical: a small finger-operated lever on the outside of each end armrest releases the back into a smooth angle while the footrest rises in one continuous motion. Push the back to return upright. No cables, no remotes, no batteries to swap, and no electrical sockets to find. You can order online and pick up for free from our Rocklea Distribution Warehouse at 48 Randolph St, Rocklea QLD 4106, but only by appointment. Call 07 3161 5415 to arrange pickup, and bring your order confirmation email and photo ID to the store.

If you paid by credit card, the cardholder must be there with photo ID to verify details.

Note that when using POLI Internet Banking, goods can be picked up or delivered only after funds are received in our Bank Account. We'll email you about this.

Your eligible items are dispatched from our Rocklea warehouse, typically within 3 to 7 working days, depending on stock availability. Delivery is to ground level or front garage only — the driver will not bring goods inside, take them upstairs or unpack them.   • Available for outright payments only (No Payment Plan, Layby).
  • Only available for addresses that are less than 10 km from our Rocklea Warehouse. The distance is determined using Google Maps.
  • Delivery is strict till the garage / ground floor. The driver will not take it inside, upstairs or unpack the goods.
  • The standard delivery time frame is within 3 to 7 working days, and there might be delays depending on stock availability.
  • The delivery driver may call you from a private number before delivery; if the customer does not answer the phone, the driver will not attempt delivery unless instructed to leave goods at the property.
