About PE Wicker

PE (polyethylene) wicker is a synthetic weaving material manufactured to replicate the appearance of natural rattan while offering significantly better resistance to outdoor conditions. Natural rattan degrades quickly when exposed to UV, rain, and humidity — becoming brittle, fading, and eventually breaking down. PE wicker is UV-stabilised and moisture-resistant, meaning it holds its shape and colour through extended outdoor exposure. It can be cleaned easily with a damp cloth, does not require seasonal sealing or oiling, and is not affected by mould or mildew in the way natural fibres can be.

Care Instructions

Wicker Shell

Wipe down the PE wicker with a damp cloth and mild soap solution. Rinse and allow to air dry — do not use abrasive brushes or harsh chemical cleaners.

Seat Cushion

Spot clean the Olefin cushion with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry fully before use or storage.

Frame & Fittings

Periodically check all bolts, joints, and the hanging chain or spring for tightness. Tighten any loose fittings before use.

Extended Storage

For extended periods of non-use, store the cushion indoors. The PE wicker shell and steel frame can remain outdoors but benefit from a breathable cover in heavy weather.

Pick Up.

You can order online and pick up for free from our Rocklea Distribution Warehouse at 48 Randolph St, Rocklea QLD 4106, but only by appointment. Call 07 3161 5415 to arrange pickup, and bring your order confirmation email and photo ID to the store.

If you paid by credit card, the cardholder must be there with photo ID to verify details.

Note that when using POLI Internet Banking, goods can be picked up or delivered only after funds are received in our Bank Account. We'll email you about this.

If someone else is picking up for you, contact us beforehand, or you won't get your goods.

You must provide your own transportation materials (strapping, rope, protective coverings) for Pick Up purchases. We don't provide them.

The cost of delivery is determined by the item and distance. To check the delivery charge, enter your details at checkout. If you have questions about delivery to distant locations, our sales team can help. Contact them before or after your online order.

Your eligible items are dispatched from our Rocklea warehouse, typically within 3 to 7 working days, depending on stock availability. Delivery is to ground level or front garage only — the driver will not bring goods inside, take them upstairs or unpack them. If you'd like assembly or in-home placement, you can add this at checkout under our Assembly Terms.

Free Local Delivery Terms & Conditions

The following Terms and Conditions apply. Free local delivery is available on selected items only. If a product qualifies, the offer will be automatically applied during the checkout process. For any detailed information, please get in touch with our team.

  • Available for outright payments only (No Payment Plan, Layby).
  • Only available for addresses that are less than 10 km from our Rocklea Warehouse. The distance is determined using Google Maps.
  • Delivery is strict till the garage / ground floor. The driver will not take it inside, upstairs or unpack the goods.
  • The standard delivery time frame is within 3 to 7 working days, and there might be delays depending on stock availability.
  • The delivery driver may call you from a private number before delivery; if the customer does not answer the phone, the driver will not attempt delivery unless instructed to leave goods at the property.
  • The A2Z Furniture has complete discretion to change any policy aspect without prior notice.
