About the Upholstered Build

The Fabulous Bed is built around a wooden internal frame with a wooden middle support bar and straight wooden slats, fully upholstered across the headboard, side rails, footboard, and drawer face. The four fabric variants use a soft-touch upholstery suited to bedroom use, while the Black PU leather option offers a smoother, wipe-clean surface that suits more formal or contemporary rooms. Each variant calls for slightly different care — the recommended care products are listed below.

Care Instructions

Vacuum Upholstery Weekly

A soft-brush vacuum attachment lifts dust and lint from the headboard tufts and side rails. Quick weekly passes keep the upholstery looking even.

Address Spills Right Away

Blot fabric spills with a clean dry cloth, working from the outside in. For PU leather, wipe with a barely-damp cloth and dry off immediately.

Mind Direct Sunlight

Position the bed away from harsh afternoon sun — important for both fabric (fade) and PU leather (long-term surface stress).

Check the Castor Wheels

If the drawer starts to feel sticky, a quick clean around the wheels and a check of the floor surface usually sorts it. Lift any rugs out of the wheel path so the castors run freely.

The storage drawer pulls out from the foot of the bed. It runs on castor wheels for a smooth glide, so make sure there's clear floor space at the end of the bed and lift any rugs out of the wheel path.

Yes — the Fabulous Bed ships flat-packed for easier delivery and home transport, and includes clear instructions for at-home assembly. We recommend two people for assembly to make handling the upholstered panels easier.

Pick Up.

You can order online and pick up for free from our Rocklea Distribution Warehouse at 48 Randolph St, Rocklea QLD 4106, but only by appointment. Call 07 3161 5415 to arrange pickup, and bring your order confirmation email and photo ID to the store.

If you paid by credit card, the cardholder must be there with photo ID to verify details.

Note that when using POLI Internet Banking, goods can be picked up or delivered only after funds are received in our Bank Account. We'll email you about this.

If someone else is picking up for you, contact us beforehand, or you won't get your goods.

Your eligible items are dispatched from our Rocklea warehouse, typically within 3 to 7 working days, depending on stock availability. Delivery is to ground level or front garage only — the driver will not bring goods inside, take them upstairs or unpack them. If you'd like assembly or in-home placement, you can add this at checkout under our Assembly Terms.

  • Available for outright payments only (No Payment Plan, Layby).
  • Only available for addresses that are less than 10 km from our Rocklea Warehouse. The distance is determined using Google Maps.
  • Delivery is strict till the garage / ground floor. The driver will not take it inside, upstairs or unpack the goods.
  • The standard delivery time frame is within 3 to 7 working days, and there might be delays depending on stock availability.
  • The delivery driver may call you from a private number before delivery; if the customer does not answer the phone, the driver will not attempt delivery unless instructed to leave goods at the property.
  • The A2Z Furniture has complete discretion to change any policy aspect without prior notice.
