A child’s first proper bed needs to do three things at once: feel safe and soft, look fun enough that they actually want to sleep in it, and survive years of reading, growing, and the occasional bounce. The Echo Kids Bed Frame manages all three — a fully upholstered frame with a smoothly arched, foam-padded headboard finished with playful button tufting, raised on solid tapered timber legs. Available in two on-trend colourways, Pink and Denim Blue, and in Single and King Single sizes to suit everything from a first big-kid bed to a teenager’s room.

Soft, Safe, and Built to Be Slept In

The whole frame is wrapped in woven fabric — no hard timber edges or corners for little ones to bump into. The smoothly arched headboard is foam-padded, comfortable to lean against for bedtime stories and soft if a child rolls into it during the night. Three contrasting beige buttons add a touch of playful character. Underneath, solid tapered rubberwood legs in a natural finish lift the bed off the floor with a clean, mid-century-inspired look that grows with the room.

What It's Made Of

The Echo is built for a child’s room rather than to mimic adult solid-timber furniture, and the materials reflect that. The frame structure is MDF and particle board, fully wrapped in 100% polyester woven upholstery fabric over foam padding — lightweight to move, soft to the touch, and free of hard edges. The legs are solid rubberwood in a natural finish, tapered for a clean modern look and genuine load-bearing strength. The upholstered-over-engineered-frame approach is exactly what makes the bed safe and soft in a kids’ room, and keeps it accessibly priced for a piece they’ll outgrow in a few years.

Keeping It Clean

Vacuum the Fabric Regularly

Run an upholstery attachment over the headboard and base every week or two. Pay attention to the button-tufted area where crumbs and dust gather.

Blot Spills Straight Away

Kids’ rooms see spills — blot (don’t rub) with a clean damp cloth as soon as they happen. The sooner you act, the less chance of a lasting mark.

Mild Soap for Marks

For stubborn marks, a little mild soap on a damp cloth, then blot dry. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners and bleach on the polyester fabric. Wipe the timber legs with a dry cloth as needed.

Parent Questions
What sizes does the Echo come in?

Single (W98 × D209.5 × H112 cm) and King Single (W115 × D221.5 × H112 cm). The King Single gives a bit more width and length — useful for taller kids and teenagers, or anyone who likes more room. No mattress included.

What colours are available?

Two on-trend colourways: Pink (soft blush) and Denim Blue (muted dusty blue). Both feature the same arched headboard with contrasting beige button tufting and natural rubberwood legs. Pick whichever suits the room — or let your child choose.

Is it suitable for young children?

The Echo is designed with kids’ rooms in mind. The fully upholstered frame means no hard timber or metal edges, the headboard is foam-padded and softly arched, and the 125kg capacity (including mattress) suits children from the big-kid-bed transition through to the teenage years. As with any bed, supervise very young children and follow the assembly instructions for a secure build.

How do I keep the fabric clean?

Vacuum regularly with an upholstery attachment, and blot spills straight away with a clean damp cloth (blot, don’t rub). For marks, a little mild soap on a damp cloth then blot dry. A fabric protector applied when the bed is new makes everyday spills much easier to manage. Avoid harsh chemicals and bleach on the polyester fabric.

How is it delivered and assembled?

The Echo arrives flat-packed in two cartons with hardware and instructions included. Assembly is required — two people are recommended, mainly for handling the upholstered headboard and base comfortably during the build. No mattress is included; it’s sold separately.

Pick Up.

You can order online and pick up for free from our Rocklea Distribution Warehouse at 48 Randolph St, Rocklea QLD 4106, but only by appointment. Call 07 3161 5415 to arrange pickup, and bring your order confirmation email and photo ID to the store.

If you paid by credit card, the cardholder must be there with photo ID to verify details.

Note that when using POLI Internet Banking, goods can be picked up or delivered only after funds are received in our Bank Account. We'll email you about this.

If someone else is picking up for you, contact us beforehand, or you won't get your goods.

Delivery is to ground level or front garage only — the driver will not bring goods inside, take them upstairs or unpack them.   • Only available for addresses that are less than 10 km from our Rocklea Warehouse. The distance is determined using Google Maps.
  • Delivery is strict till the garage / ground floor. The driver will not take it inside, upstairs or unpack the goods.
  • The standard delivery time frame is within 3 to 7 working days, and there might be delays depending on stock availability.
  • The delivery driver may call you from a private number before delivery; if the customer does not answer the phone, the driver will not attempt delivery unless instructed to leave goods at the property.
