It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the pathway for delivering the goods is clear and unobstructed. Additional charges may apply if extra work is required to clear access.
To assess whether the assembly can be carried out safely and efficiently, The A2Z Furniture may request further information about the property, including photos or video of the layout.
If the product cannot be delivered to the intended room due to insufficient space, the delivery and assembly charges are non-refundable.
The A2Z Furniture reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to decline or cancel the assembly service. Where this occurs, any assembly fee already paid will be refunded in full.

The Dwayne Chair is a modern, high-back dining chair with a padded MDF seat wrapped in black PU leather and a lustrous chromed metal base — sold per chair in three colourways: Black & Gold, Black & Silver, and Grey & Black. The chromed base adds a glamour touch that lifts a contemporary dining setting, and at $199 a chair it's a straightforward way to seat four or six without buying a whole new dining set. If you'd rather not build them, add assembly for $20 a chair and we'll do it on delivery.
Padded MDF Seat
The seat and backrest are built on an MDF panel and wrapped in cushioned PU leather, giving firm, consistent support that doesn't sag over time.
Chromed Metal Base
The Black & Gold and Black & Silver colourways sit on a lustrous gold- or silver-chromed metal base; Grey & Black pairs a grey PU seat with a black-finished base. Sturdy, wobble-free footing with a glossy, glamorous finish.
Three Colourways
Black & Gold and Black & Silver both wear black PU leather with a different chromed accent; Grey & Black is the softer, lighter option for a brighter dining room.
Armless — Tucks Right In
No arms means the whole chair slides under the table edge between meals, keeping walkways clear — and there's no armrest to clash with the table apron.

Our supplier's spec sheet for the Dwayne gives a full 52 × 62 × 100 cm footprint but only the one overall height figure — there isn't a separate seat-height measurement on file for this chair. We'd rather tell you that plainly than guess, so here's how to check the fit using what we do know, plus the general Australian sizing rules that apply to any dining chair.
- We don't have a seat-height figure for this chair. The industry-standard band for a 71–76 cm dining table is a 43–48 cm seat height, and the Dwayne's glam chromed-base styling and 100 cm overall height suggest it sits in that range like most standard dining chairs — but we can't state it as fact without it being on our spec sheet, so we won't. If seat height is a deciding factor for your table, we strongly recommend checking it in one of our showrooms before you buy.
- Count 60 cm of table edge per chair. At 52 cm wide the Dwayne is close to the standard spacing: a 110–150 cm table comfortably takes four, and a 180–200 cm table seats six. Buying for a six-seater? You need six chairs — set the quantity above.
- No arms to catch the apron. Armchairs often can't tuck under the table's edge rail. The Dwayne is armless, so it slides fully under the table between meals — worth knowing in a dining room where every centimetre of walkway counts.
- Depth check for tight rooms. The chair is 62 cm deep, so pulled out for seating it needs roughly 90 cm or more of clear floor behind the table edge.

PU is a faux leather: it gives the leather look at a fraction of the price and wipes clean easily, but it doesn't wear like genuine hide — keep it out of harsh sun and away from sharp edges and it will look right for years. Swatch colours and chrome finishes on screen are approximate; we recommend seeing them in a showroom before you buy.
Caring for your chairs
Wipe the PU leather after meals
A damp cloth is all the seat needs — spills, sauce and little fingerprints wipe straight off. Skip harsh solvents and abrasive scourers, which dull and crack PU over time.
Polish the chromed base
A soft, dry or lightly damp cloth keeps the gold, silver or black chrome finish gleaming. Avoid abrasive cleaners on the plating — they'll dull the shine.
Snug the bolts twice a year
Every dining chair loosens a little with daily use. A twice-yearly once-over with a screwdriver keeps the frame tight and silent.
Keep out of direct sun
Strong direct sunlight dries and cracks PU leather over time. Position away from harsh sun, or close curtains during the brightest hours.

Delivery cost is calculated by item and distance — enter your details in the estimator above, or at checkout. Delivery is to ground level / front garage only. Chairs travel in compact cartons, so stairs and doorways are rarely a problem; add assembly above if you'd like them built on delivery.
