About the Materials

The Drome Dining Table is built from MDF (medium-density fibreboard) finished in satin black, paired with a black tempered glass top and a brushed gold metal accent plate at the centre of the pedestal base. MDF works well for this design because it holds the carved geometric weave pattern in clean, precise relief on the front and back of the pedestal — far easier to detail crisply than solid timber, and resistant to seasonal warping that would distort the pattern over time. The satin black finish keeps the focus on the carved texture rather than competing with it through a high-shine surface. Tempered glass is heat-treated for added strength and makes the top easy to wipe clean after meals. Designed for everyday dining-room use.

Care Instructions

Clean the Glass Top

Wipe the black tempered glass top with a soft microfibre cloth to remove dust and fingerprints. For smudges or food residue, spray a non-abrasive glass cleaner onto the cloth first — never directly onto the glass.

Dust the Carved Pedestal

The carved geometric weave pattern on the pedestal base collects more dust than a flat surface — vacuum gently with a soft brush attachment, or use a dry microfibre cloth or soft paintbrush to lift dust from the recessed grooves.

Use Placemats & Coasters

Use placemats for everyday meals and coasters under glasses and serving dishes. Glass surfaces can scratch from grit beneath items moved across the top, so keep the surface clear before sliding anything across.

Care for the Gold Accent

You can order online and pick up for free from our Rocklea Distribution Warehouse at 48 Randolph St, Rocklea QLD 4106, but only by appointment. Call 07 3161 5415 to arrange pickup, and bring your order confirmation email and photo ID to the store.

If you paid by credit card, the cardholder must be there with photo ID to verify details.

Note that when using POLI Internet Banking, goods can be picked up or delivered only after funds are received in our Bank Account. We'll email you about this.

If someone else is picking up for you, contact us beforehand, or you won't get your goods.

Your eligible items are dispatched from our Rocklea warehouse, typically within 3 to 7 working days, depending on stock availability. Delivery is to ground level or front garage only — the driver will not bring goods inside, take them upstairs or unpack them. If you'd like assembly or in-home placement, you can add this at checkout under our Assembly Terms.

  • Available for outright payments only (No Payment Plan, Layby).
  • Only available for addresses that are less than 10 km from our Rocklea Warehouse. The distance is determined using Google Maps.
  • Delivery is strict till the garage / ground floor. The driver will not take it inside, upstairs or unpack the goods.
  • The standard delivery time frame is within 3 to 7 working days, and there might be delays depending on stock availability.
  • The delivery driver may call you from a private number before delivery; if the customer does not answer the phone, the driver will not attempt delivery unless instructed to leave goods at the property.
  • The A2Z Furniture has complete discretion to change any policy aspect without prior notice.
