It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the pathway for delivering the goods is clear and unobstructed. Additional charges may apply if extra work is required to clear access.
To assess whether the assembly can be carried out safely and efficiently, The A2Z Furniture may request further information about the property, including photos or video of the layout.
If the product cannot be delivered to the intended room due to insufficient space, the delivery and assembly charges are non-refundable.
The A2Z Furniture reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to decline or cancel the assembly service. Where this occurs, any assembly fee already paid will be refunded in full.

Where most reeded beds use the detail as an accent — a central panel only, or just the wings — the Cape Town commits fully. The entire headboard surface carries vertical reeding floor-to-cap, and the tall matching footboard echoes the same continuous detail. Finished in deep Tasani Brown with subtle wood grain visible through the dark stain, the bed reads as a single architectural statement at both ends. Continuous vertical reeding
Fine vertical grooves run across the full surface of both headboard and footboard — architectural rhythm without ornament, no central panel or flanking accents.

Slat base, no box spring
The wooden slat base with centre support bar holds the mattress directly — no box spring or extra foundation needed. Works with foam, hybrid and spring mattresses.

Slat base included — suited to spring mattresses, and supports most foam and hybrid mattresses too. If you're matching a specific foam or hybrid mattress, check the slat spacing with our team before ordering, since some foam-mattress warranties require gaps under ~7.5 cm.

Cartons clear a standard ~80 cm doorway even when the assembled piece is large. Still worth measuring for the bigger sizes.

Allow 60–75 cm around the piece to move comfortably; remember the frame footprint runs a few cm larger than the mattress.

Total height = base + your mattress, so a tall base plus a deep mattress can sit high — worth checking for getting in and out.

Care instructions
Dust the reeded grooves carefully
Use a soft brush or a vacuum on low suction along the vertical grooves. The reeded surface collects more dust than flat panels — weekly is ideal, monthly minimum.
Damp, never wet on the timber
Dry spills immediately with a soft cloth. Standing water can damage the Tasani Brown finish on both the solid timber and veneered surfaces over time.
Skip harsh chemicals
Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or solvent-based products on the reeded surface — they can dull the finish and lodge in the grooves where they're hard to remove.
Keep out of direct sun
Sustained UV exposure can fade the dark stain unevenly over time. Position away from harsh afternoon sun where possible.
