The service covers assembly of the product only. Removal and disposal of packaging materials is not included.
The A2Z Furniture Pty Ltd and its staff accept no liability for any accidental damage to the customer’s property that may occur while bringing goods inside or during assembly.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the pathway for delivering the goods is clear and unobstructed. Additional charges may apply if extra work is required to clear access.
To assess whether the assembly can be carried out safely and efficiently, The A2Z Furniture may request further information about the property, including photos or video of the layout.
If the product cannot be delivered to the intended room due to insufficient space, the delivery and assembly charges are non-refundable.
The A2Z Furniture reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to decline or cancel the assembly service. Where this occurs, any assembly fee already paid will be refunded in full.

A contemporary bed with hidden footboard storage
The Canyon is a clean contemporary bed with a single flat rectangular headboard panel and a subtle inset edge — quiet, architectural, no decorative ornament. The footboard holds two pull-out storage drawers with horizontal bar handles, giving practical hidden capacity without disturbing the bed's minimal look. Built with hybrid construction: solid acacia wood on the structural elements (frame, footboard structure, side rails, drawer carcases) and MDF with timber veneer on the decorative surfaces (headboard panel, drawer fronts), both stained to match. Available in Black (with matching black handles) or Grey (with chrome handles), in Queen and King sizes. The wooden slat base with centre support bar holds the mattress directly — no box spring or extra foundation needed. Works with foam, hybrid and spring mattresses.

Slat base included — suited to spring mattresses, and supports most foam and hybrid mattresses too. If you're matching a specific foam or hybrid mattress, check the slat spacing with our team before ordering, since some foam-mattress warranties require gaps under ~7.5 cm.

Total height = slat height (29 cm) + your mattress depth. Ships flat-packed in 3 boxes; measure your access route and check the boxes fit your vehicle for pickup. A screwdriver is needed (electric drill recommended); two people recommended, especially for the footboard with drawers fitted. Measurements are taken by hand and can vary slightly between shipments.

Cartons clear a standard ~80 cm doorway even when the assembled piece is large. Still worth measuring for the bigger sizes.

Allow 60–75 cm around the piece to move comfortably; remember the frame footprint runs a few cm larger than the mattress.

Total height = base + your mattress, so a tall base plus a deep mattress can sit high — worth checking for getting in and out.

For free Rocklea pickup, a flat-pack fits most cars, but an assembled or oversized item needs a van, ute or trailer.

Care instructions
Dust weekly with a soft cloth
Wipe the headboard, footboard and drawer fronts with a dry soft cloth — the clean flat surfaces are easy to maintain, with no decorative grooves to work around.
Damp, never wet on the veneer
Dry spills immediately with a soft cloth. Standing water can damage the stained finish on both the solid timber and veneered surfaces over time.
Operate the drawers smoothly
Open and close the footboard drawers with a steady motion. Avoid overloading, which can stress the runner mechanism over time.
Keep out of direct sun
Sustained UV can fade the stained finish unevenly over time — position the bed away from harsh afternoon sun where possible.

Construction is hybrid by design: the structural elements — frame, footboard structure, side rails and drawer carcases — are solid acacia wood, while the decorative surfaces — headboard panel and drawer fronts — are MDF with timber veneer. Both are stained to the same colour so the bed reads as one continuous piece; MDF stays dimensionally stable across wide panel surfaces where solid timber would expand and contract, keeping the clean architectural look crisp.
