The service covers assembly of the product only. Removal and disposal of packaging materials is not included.
The A2Z Furniture Pty Ltd and its staff accept no liability for any accidental damage to the customer’s property that may occur while bringing goods inside or during assembly.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the pathway for delivering the goods is clear and unobstructed. Additional charges may apply if extra work is required to clear access.
To assess whether the assembly can be carried out safely and efficiently, The A2Z Furniture may request further information about the property, including photos or video of the layout.
If the product cannot be delivered to the intended room due to insufficient space, the delivery and assembly charges are non-refundable.
The A2Z Furniture reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to decline or cancel the assembly service. Where this occurs, any assembly fee already paid will be refunded in full.

A classic sleigh bed with hidden footboard storage
The Canada is a classic sleigh-style bed — a three-panel headboard with a softly curved top, and a matching footboard holding two pull-out storage drawers behind raised-panel fronts with antique-style hardware. It's built with hybrid construction: solid acacia wood on the structural elements (side rails, frame, drawer carcases) and MDF on the wider decorative panels (headboard, footboard, drawer fronts), both finished to match. Available in Grey or a soft, creamy White (not pure white), in Queen and King sizes. The wooden slat base with centre support bar holds the mattress directly — no box spring or extra foundation needed. Works with foam, hybrid and spring mattresses.

Slat base included — suited to spring mattresses, and supports most foam and hybrid mattresses too. If you're matching a specific foam or hybrid mattress, check the slat spacing with our team before ordering, since some foam-mattress warranties require gaps under ~7.5 cm.

Total height = slat height (43 cm) + your mattress depth. Ships flat-packed in 3 boxes; measure your access route and check the boxes fit your vehicle for pickup. A screwdriver is needed (electric drill recommended); two people recommended, especially for the footboard with drawers fitted. Measurements are taken by hand and can vary slightly between shipments.

Cartons clear a standard ~80 cm doorway even when the assembled piece is large. Still worth measuring for the bigger sizes.

Allow 60–75 cm around the piece to move comfortably; remember the frame footprint runs a few cm larger than the mattress.

Total height = base + your mattress, so a tall base plus a deep mattress can sit high — worth checking for getting in and out.

For free Rocklea pickup, a flat-pack fits most cars, but an assembled or oversized item needs a van, ute or trailer.

Care instructions
Dust weekly with a soft cloth
Pay attention to the raised-panel grooves on the headboard and footboard, where dust collects faster than on flat surfaces.
Damp, never wet on the timber
Dry spills immediately with a soft cloth. Standing water can damage the finish and dull the colour over time.
Operate the drawers smoothly
Pull and close the footboard drawers with a steady motion. Avoid forcing them or overloading, which can stress the runner mechanism.
Keep out of direct sun
Sustained UV can fade the finish unevenly over time — position the bed away from harsh afternoon sun where possible.

The Canada Bed Frame brings a classic sleigh-bed silhouette into the bedroom, with a three-panel curved-top headboard and hidden storage built straight into the footboard. Construction is hybrid by design: the structural elements — side rails, frame and drawer carcases — are solid acacia wood, while the wider decorative panels — headboard, footboard and drawer fronts — are MDF finished to match. This is a deliberate choice, not a shortcut: MDF stays flat and dimensionally stable across wide panel surfaces where solid timber can expand, contract or warp, while solid acacia carries the structural load. Both materials share the same finish, so the bed reads as one continuous piece regardless of which material is underneath.
