The Ballina range is upholstered in a soft-touch nappa-look fabric — a smooth, leather-styled material with the practical wipe-down surface of a synthetic and the visual feel of premium nappa. The internal frame is a hardwood and engineered-wood structure with high-density foam fill across the seats, backrests, and arms. Each end seat operates on a dual-motor electric mechanism: one motor drives the recline through its full range, the other adjusts the headrest position independently. Power is supplied via a standard wall point — a single mains lead connects to the lounge.

How does the dual-motor system work?

Each end seat has two motors running independently. The first motor controls the recline angle — from upright through to a fully reclined position. The second motor adjusts the headrest, so you can set the head support exactly where you want it without changing the recline angle of the rest of the seat. The two are controlled separately, giving you finer adjustment than a single-motor mechanism allows.

What’s in the drop-down centre console?

Does the lounge work during a power outage?

No — the Ballina 3 Seater runs on mains power only. There’s no battery backup, so if the power goes out while either seat is reclined, you’ll need to wait for power to return before returning the seat to its upright position. We recommend leaving seats in the upright position when not in active use, especially overnight or during storms.

How many seats recline?

You can order online and pick up for free from our Rocklea Distribution Warehouse at 48 Randolph St, Rocklea QLD 4106, but only by appointment. Call 07 3161 5415 to arrange pickup, and bring your order confirmation email and photo ID to the store.

If you paid by credit card, the cardholder must be there with photo ID to verify details.

Note that when using POLI Internet Banking, goods can be picked up or delivered only after funds are received in our Bank Account. We'll email you about this.

If someone else is picking up for you, contact us beforehand, or you won't get your goods.

  • The delivery driver may call you from a private number before delivery; if the customer does not answer the phone, the driver will not attempt delivery unless instructed to leave goods at the property.
