The Clifton uses hybrid construction. Structural elements (frame, side rails, drawer carcases) are solid rubber wood; the decorative reeded panels (headboard sides, footboard surround, drawer fronts) are timber veneer over MDF. The central headboard panel is padded upholstery construction over internal foam. All timber surfaces are stained the same warm dark tone so the bed reads as one continuous piece. MDF stays flat across the wide reeded panels, keeping the vertical grooves crisp where solid timber would expand and contract with humidity.

What sizes is the Clifton available in?

Queen and King only. Single, King Single, and Double are not available. No mattress included.

How does the footboard storage actually work?

Two large drawers built into the footboard pull out horizontally toward the foot of the bed. Each drawer fits substantial items — spare bedding, pillows, off-season clothing, blankets, or seasonal items. The drawers run on standard runner mechanisms. Note: this is footboard pull-out drawer storage, not lift-up or ottoman-style under-bed storage — you don’t need to lift the mattress to access it.

What's the upholstered central panel like?

A padded upholstered central panel in warm brown with subtle horizontal channel-tufting (stitched horizontal channels that section the panel into padded bands). The padding is firm enough to function as a comfortable backrest for sitting up to read or watch TV, while soft enough to invite you to lean against it. The warm brown tone coordinates with the dark timber rather than contrasting against it.

Is the Clifton solid wood or veneer?

Pick Up.

You can order online and pick up for free from our Rocklea Distribution Warehouse at 48 Randolph St, Rocklea QLD 4106, but only by appointment. Call 07 3161 5415 to arrange pickup, and bring your order confirmation email and photo ID to the store.

If you paid by credit card, the cardholder must be there with photo ID to verify details.

Note that when using POLI Internet Banking, goods can be picked up or delivered only after funds are received in our Bank Account. We'll email you about this.

If someone else is picking up for you, contact us beforehand, or you won't get your goods.

Your eligible items are dispatched from our Rocklea warehouse, typically within 3 to 7 working days, depending on stock availability. Delivery is to ground level or front garage only — the driver will not bring goods inside, take them upstairs or unpack them.   • Available for outright payments only (No Payment Plan, Layby).
  • Only available for addresses that are less than 10 km from our Rocklea Warehouse. The distance is determined using Google Maps.
  • Delivery is strict till the garage / ground floor. The driver will not take it inside, upstairs or unpack the goods.
  • The standard delivery time frame is within 3 to 7 working days, and there might be delays depending on stock availability.
  • The delivery driver may call you from a private number before delivery; if the customer does not answer the phone, the driver will not attempt delivery unless instructed to leave goods at the property.
