It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the pathway for delivering the goods is clear and unobstructed. Additional charges may apply if extra work is required to clear access.
To assess whether the assembly can be carried out safely and efficiently, The A2Z Furniture may request further information about the property, including photos or video of the layout.
If the product cannot be delivered to the intended room due to insufficient space, the delivery and assembly charges are non-refundable.
The A2Z Furniture reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to decline or cancel the assembly service. Where this occurs, any assembly fee already paid will be refunded in full.
Overview
A velvet bed built around a sitting bench, not a plain footboard
The Faith pairs a vertical channel-tufted velvet headboard with an integrated upholstered bench at the foot of the bed — rolled arms on either side, two channel-detailed drawers built into the bench front, and a flat top wide enough to sit on while putting on shoes or staging clean linen during a bed change. The bench isn't a separate ottoman pushed up against a plain footboard — it's built into the bed as one coordinated piece. Available in Blue or Dark Grey velvet-textured upholstery, in Queen and King sizes.
Integrated sitting & storage bench
The defining feature of the Faith: an upholstered bench at the foot of the bed with rolled side arms, two pull-out drawers in the bench front, and a sitable flat top — useful for putting on shoes, laying out bedding, or a moment's perch while getting dressed. This is a purpose-built bench, not a plain footboard.
Vertical channel-tufted headboard
Tall channel detail runs the full width of the headboard, with the same channel treatment repeated on the bench drawers so the whole bed reads as one coordinated piece.
Straight wooden slats + wooden middle bar
Straight wooden slats take a standard mattress directly, with a wooden middle support bar included where applicable for the size — no box spring needed.

Slat base, no box spring
The wooden slat base with centre support bar holds the mattress directly — no box spring or extra foundation needed. Works with foam, hybrid and spring mattresses.

Slat base included — suited to spring mattresses, and supports most foam and hybrid mattresses too. If you're matching a specific foam or hybrid mattress, check the slat spacing with our team before ordering, since some foam-mattress warranties require gaps under ~7.5 cm.

Cartons clear a standard ~80 cm doorway even when the assembled piece is large. Still worth measuring for the bigger sizes.

Allow 60–75 cm around the piece to move comfortably; remember the frame footprint runs a few cm larger than the mattress.

Total height = base + your mattress, so a tall base plus a deep mattress can sit high — worth checking for getting in and out.

Care instructions
Vacuum gently weekly
Use a soft-brush vacuum attachment on low suction. Velvet pile is more delicate than flat fabric — aggressive vacuuming can crush or flatten the pile over time.
Blot spills immediately
Treat spills with a clean dry cloth right away. Blot — don't rub. Rubbing on velvet smears the pile direction and can leave a permanent mark even after the stain clears.
Brush the pile periodically
Velvet pile naturally lays differently depending on where it's been pressed — sitting on the bench, leaning on the headboard. A soft brush in the direction of the pile keeps the finish looking even.
Keep out of direct sun
Sustained UV fades velvet visibly over time. Blue shows fading more than Dark Grey, but both colours benefit from being kept out of harsh afternoon sun.

The Faith Bed Frame builds the bench directly into the bed instead: rolled arms on either side, two channel-detailed pull-out drawers in the front, and a sitable top surface at the right height for putting on shoes or perching while making the bed. The bench's channel detailing mirrors the channel-tufting on the headboard, so the bed reads as a single coordinated piece rather than a bed plus an add-on.
The upholstery is a velvet-textured fabric across every visible surface — headboard, side rails, footboard bench and bench drawers.
