If the product cannot be delivered to the intended room due to insufficient space, the delivery and assembly charges are non-refundable.
The A2Z Furniture reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to decline or cancel the assembly service. Where this occurs, any assembly fee already paid will be refunded in full.

The Davidson 7 Piece Dining Set pairs the 2 metre Davidson Dining Table with 6 matching Davidson Dining Chairs. The table carries a white marble-LOOK finish with soft grey veining on a grey quilted pedestal banded in brushed gold; the chairs are upholstered in grey PU (polyurethane) faux leather with a diamond-stitched back panel, on gold-finished metal legs. It is a deliberately glamorous setting, and buying it as a set is the only way to be certain the metal finishes match — that is the hardest thing to pair after the fact.
Marble Look, Not Marble
The top is a white marble-look finish with soft grey veining. It is not real marble and not stone — we say so plainly, because a stone top would be heavier, colder, porous and far more expensive. What you get is the look without the sealing, staining and weight.
Sculpted Pedestal Base
A single grey quilted pedestal banded in brushed gold carries the top, so there are no corner legs in the way of knees and chairs pull straight out anywhere around the table.

What "7 piece" really seats, and the room it needs
A dining set is the piece people most often buy too big for the room — and the one where the number on the box and the number of people who actually fit can quietly disagree. Here are the real numbers for this set, taken from the table's and the chairs' own measurements.
- "7 piece" means one table and 6 chairs. Three settings down each side at the standard 60 cm per person — six, without needing the ends. We would rather set that out now than have you count places after it arrives.
- Leave 90 cm clear on every side. That is the Australian standard for pulling a chair out and walking behind it. Add 180 cm to each of the table's dimensions and you get the minimum room: about 3.8 × 2.8 m. If the set sits near a kitchen walkway, aim for 105–120 cm of clearance instead — roughly 4.1 × 3.1 m.
- On seat height, we would rather say we don't know. This table stands 78 cm, right at the top of the standard 71–76 cm Australian range, so a normal dining chair suits it. These chairs are from the matching range — but our supplier gives only their 97 cm overall height, not the seat height, so we cannot publish an exact knee clearance and will not invent one. Call 07 3161 5415 and we will measure a floor piece.
- The chairs tuck, the backs stand clear. Each chair is 50 cm wide and 48 cm deep, so they sit along the table at the standard 60 cm-per-person spacing. The seats slide under the top; the 97 cm backs stand above it, so measure your walkway to the chair backs rather than to the table edge.
- Measure the doorway, not just the room. The table ships flat-packed, so getting it in is easy — but once built it is 200 cm long and will not turn a tight corner. Build it in the room it is staying in.

⚠️ The top is a marble-look finish, not real marble and not stone. We state that plainly because the difference matters: a printed finish will not stain or etch the way porous stone does and needs no sealing, but it also should not be treated as a stone surface. The pedestal beneath is a quilted panel with a brushed-gold band.
Caring for your set
Use placemats & coasters
Hot pans straight off the stove should never go directly onto the top. Placemats, coasters and a trivet keep it looking sharp and take the thermal shock out of the equation.
Clean the marble-look top
A soft damp cloth and a mild detergent, dried off afterwards. Because it is a finish rather than porous stone it will not etch from lemon or wine — but skip abrasive creams and scourers, which cut straight through a printed surface.
Mind the edges
Corners and edges take the knocks on any large table. Take care moving chairs, and don't let anything hard swing into the rim.
Clean the PU seats
Wipe the faux leather with a damp cloth and dry it off. Skip solvents, bleach and alcohol wipes — they dry PU out and it eventually cracks. Keep sharp objects and pet claws off the seat.
Protect the metal finish
The gold and chrome on the base and chair legs is a finish, not solid metal. Clean with a soft dry cloth only — abrasives and harsh chemicals will wear it through.
Check the fixings
Both the table and the chairs are bolted together and everyday use works fixings loose. Every few months check them and gently tighten anything that has moved.

Delivery cost is calculated by item and distance — enter your details in the estimator above, or at checkout. Delivery is to ground level / front garage only. The set travels as multiple cartons on one delivery, all of them flat or boxed, so doorways and stairs are rarely a problem. Add set assembly above if you'd like it handled in the room on delivery.
Collect free from our Rocklea distribution warehouse by appointment. Plan for a long flat table carton plus a box per chair — that needs a van, a large trailer or two trips in a ute. Our supplier doesn't list the carton sizes, so call 07 3161 5415 before you come and we'll measure them for you. Bring your order confirmation and photo ID.
