The Danna 7 Piece Dining Set with Dwayne Chairs pairs the 2 metre Danna Dining Table with 6 matching Dwayne Dining Chairs in the Black & Silver colourway. The table is a black tempered safety glass top over a high-gloss lacquered plinth split by a slim silver metal-finish trim; the chairs are high-backed, upholstered in black PU faux leather over an MDF panel, and sit on a silver-chromed metal base. The chairs are the Dwayne, not the Danna dining chair — the chromed base is what ties them to the table's silver trim, and buying the two together is the only way to be certain the metal finishes agree.
Tempered Safety Glass
The top is heat-treated tempered glass — several times stronger than ordinary glass, and designed to break into small granular pieces rather than shards if it ever does fail. It is not shatterproof, and we won't tell you it is; treat it as toughened glass and it will serve you well.
Plinth Base, No Corner Legs
The table runs on a single high-gloss lacquered plinth rather than four corner legs, split by a slim silver metal-finish vertical trim. The practical upside is real: with no leg in the corner position, chairs sit square along both sides and nobody ends up straddling a leg.

Three settings down each side at the standard 60 cm per person — six, without needing the ends. At 100 cm wide there is a genuine centre run for platters, boards and candles rather than a bare strip between placemats.
Wipe-Clean Seats
The chairs are black PU faux leather over an MDF seat panel — not animal leather, and we don't call it that. It wipes down after a meal, which is the practical choice on a table this size.

A dining set is the piece people most often buy too big for the room — and the one where the number on the box and the number of people who actually fit can quietly disagree. Here are the real numbers for this set, taken from the table's and the chairs' own measurements.
- "7 piece" means one table and 6 chairs. Three settings down each side at the standard 60 cm per person — six, without needing the ends. We would rather set that out now than have you count places after it arrives.
- Leave 90 cm clear on every side. That is the Australian standard for pulling a chair out and walking behind it. Add 180 cm to each of the table's dimensions and you get the minimum room: about 3.8 × 2.8 m. If the set sits near a kitchen walkway, aim for 105–120 cm of clearance instead — roughly 4.1 × 3.1 m.
- On seat height, we would rather say we don't know. This table stands 75 cm, squarely in the standard 71–76 cm Australian range, so a normal dining chair suits it — the table's own page recommends a 45–48 cm seat. Our supplier gives only the chair's 100 cm overall height, not its seat height, so we cannot publish an exact knee clearance and will not invent one. - The chairs tuck, the backs stand clear. Each chair is 52 cm wide and 62 cm deep, so they sit along the table at the standard 60 cm-per-person spacing. The seats slide under the top; the 100 cm backs stand above it, so measure your walkway to the chair backs rather than to the table edge.
- Measure the doorway, not just the room. The table ships flat-packed, so getting it in is easy — but once built it is 200 cm long and will not turn a tight corner. Build it in the room it is staying in.

The tabletop is tempered (heat-treated) safety glass — stronger than ordinary glass and designed to break into small granular pieces rather than sharp shards. It is not shatterproof: avoid knocking the edges and corners, which are the vulnerable points on any glass top, and don't stand on it. The plinth beneath is lacquered MDF with a metal-finish trim — we call it MDF rather than solid timber, because that is what it is. The chairs' chromed base is a plated finish over metal, not solid silver.
Caring for your set
Mind the edges and corners
Tempered glass is strong across its face and vulnerable at the edges and corners. Most glass-top failures start with a knock to a corner, so take care moving chairs and never let anything hard swing into the rim.
Clean the glass streak-free
A soft microfibre cloth with a little glass cleaner or warm water and vinegar. Spray the cloth rather than the glass so liquid doesn't run into the join with the plinth, and buff dry to avoid streaks.
Use placemats and coasters
Glass shows every ring and crumb, and hot pans straight off the stove should never go directly onto it. Placemats, coasters and a trivet keep it sharp and take the thermal shock out of the equation.
Dust the high-gloss plinth
A soft, dry microfibre cloth on the lacquered plinth and the metal-finish trim. Skip abrasive cloths and harsh cleaners — micro-scratches show more readily on a dark gloss finish than on anything else in the room.
Clean the PU seats
Wipe the faux leather with a damp cloth and dry it off. Skip solvents, bleach and alcohol wipes — they dry PU out and it eventually cracks. Keep sharp objects and pet claws off the seat surface.
Check the fixings
Both the table and the chairs are bolted together and everyday use works fixings loose. Every few months check the plinth fixings and the chair bases and gently tighten anything that has moved. On a glass table that is a safety check, not just maintenance.

Delivery cost is calculated by item and distance — enter your details in the estimator above, or at checkout. Delivery is to ground level / front garage only. The set travels as multiple cartons on one delivery, all of them flat or boxed, so doorways and stairs are rarely a problem. Add set assembly above if you'd like it handled in the room on delivery.
Collect free from our Rocklea distribution warehouse by appointment. Plan for a long flat table carton plus a box per chair — that needs a van, a large trailer or two trips in a ute. Our supplier doesn't list the carton sizes, so call 07 3161 5415 before you come and we'll measure them for you. Bring your order confirmation and photo ID.
